RIEUL

"Jungkook!"

I wave at him from the bench when I see his figure waddle out of the front entrance of the school, clutching something to his arms.

He quickly runs over to me.

"Careful." I whisper, wrapping a hand around his shoulder as I try to get a peek at what he's holding.

"What's that?"

He smiles shyly. "We made bread at school today. And so I brought you some instead of eating it all!"

A light laugh escapes my lips when he takes his hands out from behind his back, showing me a cutely packaged piece of bread.

I stare at his expectant expression.

"Jungkook, this is so sweet." I smile, patting the top of his hair. "You could even set up a bakery or something. This looks amazing."

But then he pouts. "I wanted to make one for Jimin hyung too, but they'd only let me make one. So I decided to give it to you, 'cause you're my Noona."

I tickle his chin.

"Let's drop by his place today." I say, and he yelps in excitement. But then my phone rings with a sudden text, and I roll my eyes before pushing it back in my pocket.

"Or not. He's already at our place."

"Mmm, Jungkook!" Jimin says as he nibbles on the halved piece. I'm chewing on the other half, and Jungkook smiles bashfully.

I kick at Jimin's shin underneath the small table.

"And I guess you're staying over today? Like yesterday and the days before that?"

He grins widely, before reaching up to defend himself.

"Hey. I went to my house a few times."

"You're staying over today?" Jungkook claps his hands, looking happy. "That's great! I like having you here, Jimin hyung."

Jimin shoots an angelic smile at my younger brother.

"So, Kookie. Me or her?"

"Don't push it." I warn, but still give him a smug smile when Jungkook wraps his arms around my shoulder. "Of course he likes me better than you."

"Just give me a few more days and I can promise that'll change."

Jimin stands up from the table, licking at his lips. "Alright. Jungkook. Let's set out the blankets together."

I watch them with a happy smile, seeing Jungkook follow quickly after him. I'd never say it out loud, but I appreciated Jimin much more than he thought I did.

Without him, I didn't know if I could've kept going.

Taking the dishes, I'm about to walk over to the sink when my eyes roam to the dark, water stained windows outside.

And I nearly die with a heart attack.

Instantly putting down the unwashed dishes down on the sink, I grab my black umbrella and push my arms into my jacket.

"Jimin! I'm going to go to the store real quick— I ran out of dish soap!" I call, my heart racing inside of my chest as Jimin's voice comes yelling from the other side of the house.
