You woke up to a knock on your door.

"Come in!" You tiredly called as you jumped out of bed.

The door opened and Data came in.

"Oh, thank God, it's just you. How did I get here anyway? Last thing I remember I was on the bridge." You said as you sat back down on your bed and rubbed the sleep off your face.

"You fell asleep on the bridge, I carried you back here at the end of my shift." Data said.

"Ah, thank you, that explains why I am so tired." You said with a chuckle, "how can I help you?"

"I apologize for waking you. I was curious about how accurate my sneeze is?"

"What?" You said laughing.

"AAAA....AAAA....CHOO!" Data said.

"Was that your sneeze?" You asked.

"Yes. Was it accurate?"

"It wasn't that is wasn't....not accurate. Just maybe next time, I don't know. I guess sneezes are generally a quick expel of air rather than spoken words." You said still stifling a smile.

"Interesting..." Data said as if he was thinking.

"Is there anything else you needed?" You asked.

"I also wanted to alert you that we have reached the Omicron Theta star system"

"Okay?"

"My home planet is here."

"Oh!" You and Data had discussed his mysterious origins many times before and you knew that this place could give way to some new insight. "Data that is wonderful!"

He smiled, "Yes, I am going with the away crew in an attempt to find any clues."

"But why are you telling me this now, do you need my help?"

He cocked his head at his own confusion, "No. I do not know why I am here."

You laughed, "Well, I'm glad you are, thanks for telling me. Come tell me what you found as soon as you get back."

Data nodded his head and began to leave.

"Oh, and Data?" You said.

"Yes (y/n)?"

"Stay safe," You winked.

"Thank you," he smiled and left.

You instantly flopped back down on your bed and went back to sleep.

Several hours later and you reawoke. It was lunchtime. You put on a comfy pair of trousers and a sweater and quickly cleaned up in the bathroom. You hair was still perfectly braided from the day before so you were thankful you didn't have to worry about that.

You walked across the hall and knocked on Bone's door.

"What is it?" He said worriedly as he opened it.

"Nothing bad, I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go get some food at Ten Forward with me?"

He nodded and quickly went to scavenge for his shoes. Together the two of you made your way there and sat down at a comfy seat by a window. You both ordered some nice food.

"So, are you regretting staying yet?" You teased him.

"Not at all." He said with a smile, "This is a good ship. How about you? Are you desperate to get home still?"
