A/N: (Or as I like to call it, Author's log.) My best friend not only keeps shipping me with Riker but now insists I look exactly like if Riker was a girl. I don't know whether I should be disturbed or turned on by myself anymore...Perhaps a bit of both to just make my sex life more interesting. I just felt you should all know this. Author out.

"(y/n)! Are you okay?" Wesley asked as he kneeled down to your little form in the hallway and placed his hand on your shoulder, you were still curled up crying.

You looked up, instantly feeling embarrassed about being found, "Yeah, I'm fine Wes...thank you." You sniffed.

He didn't look so sure, neither did Riker who knelt down too and shot you a worried glance, "Is this about earlier? I was just teasing, I meant no harm to your feelings." Riker said, you could tell by his eyes that he meant it.

"No, no, I know. I was just feeling a bit overwhelemed, that's all."

"And rightfully so," Riker said, "I can't imagine it has been easy coming here, espeically with the holodeck mishap."

Wesley eyed you carefully, "It felt wrong kissing him back in the Bridge, didn't it?"

You nodded and met his gaze.

"Yeah, what happened back there? You didn't seem to enjoy that at all...unlike when I found you and Data in that cupobard." He smirked. You noticed a blush creep over Wesley's face.

"I don't know, but I'm hoping we'll find out soon. Why are you two here anyway?" You asked looking between them.

"I was just escorting Wesely and Data down to find Lore." Riker said. "Where is Data?" He said whipping his head to his side.

"...I don't know." Wesley mumbled.

The three of you stood to your feet just in time to see "Data" wakling down the corridor.

"Speak of the Devil." You whispered.

"Data" caught up quickly and smiled slightly, "Excuse my delay, I got caught up."

"Caught up with what?" Riker asked.

He just shook his head, "Nothing of any importance, come, let's continue." He walked ahead and down the hallway, Riker sped up to catch up with him.

"I think you should come with us." Wesley told you, you nodded your head in agreement as the two of you began following.

"That's not Data" Wesley finally whispered.

"...Yeah, I know. I don't know what to do. No one will believe me."

"Is that why you were upset?"

You shook your head yes.

"I tried to tell them, on the Bridge. But no one would take a hint and Captain Picard just got short tempered about me wrongly addressing a senior officer. That's why Commander Riker is here, he's just here to make sure I 'show the appropriate respect'"

You couldn't help but laugh a little, "I'm sorry kid. Unless you have the right amount of pips on your collar it seems you can get a little bit talked over here."

He laughed too, "What are we going to do? Surely they will listen to you, I mean you are an expert on people like Data, and also you're his girlfriend."

You nodded your head, "I think I could get them to believe me, but we will have to get proper evidence. I mean, you and I are just going off our gut feelings at this point, there's been no significant source of unexplained happenings. The twitch was weird but it sounds like he covered it up enough where we couldn't use it as evidence. We just have to get more evidence and then set up a meeting with Riker and Picard." You said, "At least Data is in no immediate harm."
