Lexi's POV

We landed on the sand near a little beach house, which I later found out was named Shell Cottage.

"NO!" Harry shouted, bringing my thoughts back down to earth. Harry cradled Dobby in his arms, Bellatrix's dagger sticking out of the elf's chest. Blood was seeping out of the stab wound and was staining his one piece of clothing.

I stumbled over, uneasy on my feet after Bellatrix's...method of punishment. I looked sadly at the elf that Harry and I first met at La Push when we were 12. It was a lot and eventful five years, but Dobby was there. I closed his eyes with my fingers, making it look like he was sleeping.

I stayed with Harry as he manually buried Dobby. Fleur kept telling me I should come inside so she can check me over for severe injuries. The only severe injury was to my sanity. I understand why Neville's parents are so mentally unstable after enduring that. I was holding off the break-down that I knew was imminent. Harry sat by Dobby's grave for a few silent minutes before walking over to me and helping me up. I walked as he held onto me to keep me from falling over. He then asked the question I'd been dreading answering.

"How are you feeling?"

Now the mental breakdown presented itself as I burst into tears. I would've collapsed to the ground except for that Harry was holding me. He swung his arm under my legs and picked me up as he carried me to the cottage. I was still crying, burying my head in his shirt and wrapping my arms tightly around his neck. He rocked me in his arms, comforting me, as Fleur ran out.

"What's wrong?" Fleur asked.

"She just broke down. I was stupid to ask her how she was feeling." Fleur led Harry inside, me still in his arms.

"It probably wasn't the best timing for the question, but she needs to know you care," Fleur replied.

I started to drift into a restless sleep as Harry carried me in his arm towards the bedrooms. Harry placed me down on the bed, out of his arms, and I started screaming, Bellatrix's haunting face taking over my mind.

"Lexi, Lexi. You're alright. You're safe, now," Harry soothed, rubbing my head as I calmed down slightly.

"Harry?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper. After all the screaming, I'm surprised anything came out.

"Yes?"

"Can you stay with me?" I pleaded, hoping he wouldn't leave me alone with my inner demons.

"Of course. I'll always be here,"

Harry curled up next to me on the bed, holding me to his chest and rubbing my back as I drifted into a fitful sleep.
