Chapter 1

Lexi's POV

As we arrived in Privet Drive, I played with the necklace gave me, anticipating seeing my boyfriend again. I've realised that I absolutely hate long-distance but if it keeps Harry safe, I'll live with it.

"We're here!" Hermione called cheerfully as Ron parked the car in the driveway of No. 4 Privet Drive.

I could already feel the jetlag setting in from the time distance between America and the UK as I tiredly stepped out of the car, my eyelids drooping a little.

"Harry Potter, we're here! Your girlfriend wants to see you and will collapse from exhaustion if you don't hurry up and get your ass out here!" Ron shouted.

Harry ran out a couple of seconds later and, after seeing my exhausted state, ran over and picked me up in his arms, bridal style.

"Harry?" I asked, eyes half-closed.

"Yes, love? I'm here,"

"I...love..you," My words slurred a little from my utter tiredness.

"I love you too. C'mon, let's get you to a bed so you can sleep," I curled into Harry's chest as he continued to carry me.

Harry carried me inside and up the stairs, into a bedroom which I assumed was his. I felt him set me down on the bed, take my shoes off, and pull the covers over me. I curled up under the sheets and let exhaustion take over.

A/N: Sorry for the short chapter. I haven't updated for a while because I have a lot of assessment on a the moment. But after Thursday this week, my assessment for the year is done!!!! (*cue squeals and fist-pumps*)

I will most likely not be able to update until Thursday afternoon after school (I'm in Australia so the times will be different).

I have a very important question that I desperately need answers or ideas for:

I've also decided, after seeing this on other stories I read and thinking it was a cool idea, that I will do a question of the day. But I'm changing it to question of the chapter since my uploading/publishing routine is not happening
