Lexi's POV
Hermione, Ron, Harry and I were standing in the open streets of London as Muggles walked passed, not giving us a second glance.
"We're safe," Ron sighed, relieved. He hugged Hermione to his chest, glad they were together and safe.
"Yeah, but not for long. We need to get moving," I was glad we were safe as well, but the Death Eaters and Voldemort himself could be on our trail right now. I also hoped my friends that were still at the wedding are safe.
"Agreed," Harry stated as we walked, hand-in-hand.
"Where are we headed?" Hermione asked.
"The only place I know we'll be safe. 12 Grimmauld Place," I answered, tense and anxious.

The usually lively headquarters of the Order was now an eerily quiet, almost haunted-looking, building. The four of us walked in to be smothered by darkness.
"Lumos," All of us whispered, wands lighting up.
"Hello?" I called out, getting no reply other than an echo of my own voice.
"Let's go upstairs," Harry suggested and we followed, walking into what you could call the 'lounge room'. The only thing that made it a lounge room was the fact that it had two couches facing each other and a few small tables.
"I'm stuffed. Are we allowed to sleep here?" Ron asked.
"I don't think anyone would mind. I'm pretty tired too, come to think about it," I replied.
"Me too,"
"Shotgun one of the couches!" Ron shouted.
"Ssh!" I whispered harshly at him. "Do you really have to be that loud?"
"Hermione, you can have the other couch. Lexi and I will be fine on the floor," Harry offered, the gentleman that he was. I didn't mind sleeping on the ground when it meant sleeping next to him.
"You sure? Lexi?" She asked.
"Sure. You deserve a good sleep. You look like you haven't had one for a while," My statement was true. Hermione had large, dark eye bags hanging below her eyes, a telltale sign she's sleep deprived.
"Just pass us a couple of cushions and a blanket, please?" Harry asked, getting handed four cushions to be exact and the blanket that was draped over the back of the couch.
Harry and I laid down on the roughly carpeted floor between the two couches, sharing the blanket and cushions, our faces mere centimetres away from each other. My head was screaming to kiss him senselessly, but I decided that probably wasn't appropriate with our friends on either side of us.
"Goodnight, beautiful," Harry whispered, planting a soft kiss on my lips.
"Goodnight," I replied, smiling.
Sometime later in the night, I heard a bang, like something was knocked over or walked into. I jolted awake and saw Harry sitting up too.
"Did you hear that?" I asked him, not sure whether it was just my wolf hearing or not.
"Yeah. Should we check it out?" Harry asked. I nodded in response. I stood up, still in the dress I was wearing at the wedding. I didn't have any clothes to change into so I had to stay in it. I waited until I was outside the room to light up my wand so as not to wake Ron or Hermione.
"Hello?" I quietly asked. Once again, I received no reply. I cautiously climbed the staircase, Harry right beside me.
We continued to climb the stairs until we came to a door.
Sirius
"This must be Sirius' room." I stated, to myself really.
"Shoud we go in?" I shrugged my shoulders but turned the door handle anyway.
I slowly opened the door to find a fully furnished room, yet there was no one in there. It was now, once again, that Sirius' death sunk in again.
I stepped in slowly, followed by Harry, and we quickly scanned the room.
"Hermione! I think I found something!" Ron called out, scaring the shit out me. Just like his mother. I didn't even know they were awake. Harry and I waled out of Sirius' room and walked down the hall to where Ron and Hermione were standing.
Hermione pointed to the name plate on the door with her lit-up wand.
"Regulus Arcturus Black" I read outloud.
"R.A.B" Hermione stated, instantly putting the pieces together. We told Hermione and Ron about the locket not long after we'd arrived in the Burrow after leaving Privet Drive.
"He must be Sirius' brother," I pondered. We all left the room and headed down stairs, sitting at the extraordinarily long table.
"What did that note say?" Hermione asked, suddenly serious.
Harry pulled the locket with the note inside out of his back pocket and sat it on the table in the room.
"To the Dark Lord- I know I will be dead long before you read this, but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in hope that when you meet your match, you will be mortal once more. -R.A.B."
"Question is, has the locket been destroyed?" I asked. Suddenly, there was a thump coming from the cupboard in the kitchen. We all slowly stood up and unsheathed our wands.
Harry stepped forward towards the cupboard and I followed closely behind him. Harry quickly turned the doorknob and reached in, pulling out whatever was hiding in there. What was hiding in there happened to be a house-elf.
"Been spying on us, have you?" Harry questioned, pointing his wand at the house-elf.
"No! Kreacher has been watching..." The house-elf, obviously by the name of Kreacher, said.
"Maybe he knows the location of the real locket," Hermione suggested. I grabbed the locket and walked over to the house-elf.
"Ever seen this before?" I asked, menacingly. Kreacher backed away as if the locket scared him. "Kreacher?"
"I don't answer to Mudbloods" Kreacher stated, venomously.
"Mudblood or not, you will answer to me, house-elf. Now, have you seen the locket before?" I stepped forward, my tall stature threatening Kreacher. My tone was sharp and my eyes shot daggers at the measly little elf.
"It's...Master Regulus' locket," Kreacher reluctantly answered, telling us nothing we didn't already know.
"There were two, weren't there?" Harry asked. "Where's the other one?"
"...Kreacher doesn't know," Kreacher said. Whether he was lying or not was another story.
"Did you ever see it?" Hermione piped in. "Was it ever in this house?"
"Another filthy little mudblood!" Kreacher shouted at Hermione, which infuriated her. I held her back from lunging at Kreacher.
"Kreacher, behave," I sternly told the house-elf. "Now, answer her,"
