It's been a week since Toni's been released from the hospital.

Cheryl's been making sure Toni stayed hydrated. And of course, Toni listened because if she didn't Cheryl would rage out on her.

"Okay, Cher. Yes, I did drink my water." Toni chuckled as she was on the phone with her wife.

"Okay." Toni smiled before hanging up.

"Mommy's a bit bossy, right?" Toni pouted as she looked at Bailey who was laying near her foot.

There was a knock at the door causing him to get up as Toni jumped up to answer it.

She opened it as she couldn't believe her eyes.

"Kimberly?"

Cheryl sighed, entering the house. She took her shoes off when she heard laughing coming from the living area.

Furrowing her eyebrows, Cheryl walked into the living room, gasping at what she sees.

"What the fuck are you doing our my apartment?" Cheryl asked the girl.

Kimberly sighed, standing up. "Hello, Cheryl." She greeted.

"Babe, calm down she was just about to leave. She came to say that she was sorry and that she will never see us again." Toni explained, going to her wife's side as she was filled with anger.

Toni touched her cheek, making the ginger girl look at her as her eyes softened up.

She sighed, letting the nerves pass.

"Okay, then say what you have to say, then leave." Cheryl deadpanned.

"That night was a mistake. I didn't mean for it to happen, my hand got stuck under the trigger so when I let it go, the gun went off and shot you in the side. I promise it was unintended." Kimberly said with all honesty.

Cheryl sighed with a nod. "I'm not accepting that apology because you shot me. Okay, you don't shoot people then apologize even if it was intended or not. YOU came to a party with a weapon. So yes, it was intended if you brought it. But, hey how would you even know. There, you have your closer. You can leave now." Cheryl said, going into the bedroom.

Toni looked at Kimberly, then walked over to the door, letting the blonde leave.

Cheryl stuffed some stuff in a bag as Toni entered the room.

"Woah, Cher. Where are you going?" Toni asked her wife.

"To stay with my parents." She sighed.

Toni frowned, feeling tears form in her eyes.

"Why?" Toni asked, touching Cheryl's shoulder.

Cheryl sighed, turning to face her wife.

"Because. I just need some space. Do you think you can give me that?" Cheryl asked.

"B-but what d-did I do?" Toni asked.

Cheryl sighed, she wasn't actually going anywhere. She wanted Toni to think that.

Cheryl was the one who called Kimberly, telling her how she felt and to go to the house with Toni.

Cheryl has the best surprise for Toni waiting downstairs for her.

You see, Toni's always wanted to meet Ariana grande, and it just so happens that, that's Kimberly's cousin. Well, third but that's not the point the point is that Cheryl's surprising Toni with her favorite singer.

"Nothing. Okay? I'm just going." Cheryl sighed.

"Then I'm coming with you," Toni said, grabbing her own bag.

Cheryl tried to keep herself from laughing but couldn't hold it in.

Toni looked at her with raised eyebrows.

"What's so funny?" Toni asked.

"You'll see." Cheryl smirked.

"Holy fuck! Is that Ariana Grande?!" Toni asked as they approached the singer that was sitting on the black SUV

"Hi!!" Ariana smiled.

"No fucking way!" Toni said as the singer pulled her into a hug.

"I-I'm hugging Ariana Grande." Toni squealed.

Ariana pulled back, smiling at the short Burnett's.

"Your wife over there said that I was your biggest fan so when Kimberly told me, I jumped at the opportunity." Ari smiled.

"Cher? You tricked me?" Toni asked, turning to face a her wife.

"Yep." Cheryl giggled as Toni pulled her into a big hug.

"I thought you were actually leaving me." Toni sighed.

"Oh I'm not." Cheryl smiled, kissing her forehead.

"So this was all some set up?" Toni asked.

"Yep." Ariana smiled.

After chilling and talking for a bit, Ariana offered them to dinner to which the couple accepted.

Idk wtf this was but hey, Kimberly came back, then it was a bit of angst. Soooooo I tried my best🤷🏽
