I have this REALLY long rant saved, so I decided to post it here in chunks. I'm also gonna be talking like y'all don't know who the fricka frack anyone is, so... read it if you want to I guess??? If you don't, I won't be offended.
Later on, it was revealed to be a sentient bird-like being that he controls. It's name is Dark Shadow.

He fared pretty well in the obstacle course, the first part of the UA Sports Festival. He didn't get a ton of screen time during that, but we DID see him leap over a giant robot, which I thought was really cool.

After that, was the cavalry battle. Our little protagonist, Deku, teams up with Mei Hatsume and Ochako Uraraka and they need one more person. Deku chooses someone, but they don't reveal it at first.
Eventually, they reveal it's Fumi. And I got excited, because I wanted to know more about him.
And he blew me away.
He successfully managed to block attacks for the most part, protecting their 10,000,000 points that others were trying to snatch.

Until the 10,000,000 points got snatched, but that was because the team was moving at the speed of light, thanks to Tenya Iida.
