I have this REALLY long rant saved, so I decided to post it here in chunks. I'm also gonna be talking like y'all don't know who the fricka frack anyone is, so... read it if you want to I guess??? If you don't, I won't be offended.
Okay, so I'm scrolling through Instagram, and I encounter this Instagram post claiming that Dark Shadow is actually a girl and there were pictures for proof.
The fact is, I found this hard to believe, so I googled that shit.
Sure enough, I found a virtual copy of BNHA Smash 84. And here's the first thing I saw -

I later found out that Fumi got hit with some sort of quirk that made Dark Shadow human.
Mineta also gave her a nickname - Kokage. Everyone just sort of started calling her that.
Honestly, she looks some sort of cross between Sadako Yamamura and Rapunzel.
Now that I think about it - and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong - but Fumi usually refers to Dark Shadow as an "it." And I want to say I heard Deku refer to Dark Shadow as a "he" but Dark Shadow didn't rush to correct him. She probably didn't hear him, but it's possible that Dark Shadow IS a girl, but identifies as a male. If that's the case, I should probably use he/him pronouns, but at the same time, I don't think that the pronouns had been officially claimed.
Until I get clarification, I'm honestly just gonna call Dark Shadow "they/them" because I don't want to assume.
