I have this REALLY long rant saved, so I decided to post it here in chunks. I'm also gonna be talking like y'all don't know who the fricka frack anyone is, so... read it if you want to I guess??? If you don't, I won't be offended.
He barely got any screen time in the first half of the season, but the one moment he did made me shriek.
Aizawa was going over information for work studies. Basically, some of the students were getting called by pro heroes and they were working with them for a while.
Aizawa told Fumi that he was wanted by Hawks, who is the NUMBER 2 HERO. That is a HUGE accomplishment.
I had already spoiled some stuff for myself and I was just like, "SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
He didn't show up for the rest of the first half :/
THEN came the School Festival arc.
They agreed to do a band performance for the school. They had vocals, drums, and someone on the keyboard. However, they needed guitarists.
Kaminari and Mineta immediately stepped up, but because Mineta is so short, he wasn't able to hold the guitar properly.
They show some stage crew people talking and then we hear this AMAZING guitar solo. Everyone turns their heads and we see none other than this beauty -

I. SCREAMED.
So he got the job.
Mineta said he hoped all his nails broke off. And me, who has also grown a "little" protective of Fumi, snapped "SHUT UP AND GO CHOKE ON A GRAPE!! As if I didn't hate you enough already!"
But then there was this whole arc thing with a villain whose job is YouTubing (I'm not even kidding) and THEN we got to the actual performance.
I got CHILLS. The song was SO GOOD. I was unable to get it out of my head for the rest of the week.
After the performance, he sneezed.

He got nailed by some CoronaVirus jokes, of course.
Meanwhile, I noticed his beak is flexible. So my immediate thought was "Does this mean he can kiss?"
After that, we (finally) got introduced to Hawks so I knew we were gonna get some flashback action at some point with Fumi's work studies. And I'm HYPED.
But then season 4 ended and we have to wait a long time for season 5.
I basically said "Screw that!" and binge read the manga.
