This part contains guns, fire, arson, violence, injury and mentions shooting. If you aren't comfortable with these topics then I would recommend not reading this part. This is inspired by the song with the same name as the chapter (apart from the part 2 part) and I have attached it above.

Akaashi walked into the store, gun held in his pocket. He walked towards the back of the store and waited, pretending to observe the stock. They had been planning this for a week. It may seem like a simple thing to rob a convenience store but if you wanted absolutely no way of getting caught, you needed a fool proof plan.

He watched as his partner then entered the store. In his hands he held shopping bags and he walked towards the back of the store aswell. They were blocked from the owner by the aisles as they put on their masks and pulled out their guns.

"Open the register!" Bokuto shouted as the two emerged from their hiding spot. The owner looked in shock before turning around, reaching for the key. He unlocked the register and held up his hands in a mock surrender.

"Now hand over the money!" Akaashi yelled. The owner reached for what the pair thought was money but instead threw a hard object at them. Akaashi ducked as a rock hidden in the register was hurled at him, narrowly missing his head and hitting the shelf behind him.

"I'm going to give you one last chance to do as your told. Hand over the money!" Bokuto said, hand tightening around the gun. The owner threw another rock at the pair then ducked behind the counter, pressing the alarm button.

The two looked behind the counter. Akaashi held the gun above the man and pulled the trigger. The bullet tore through the owner's shoulder as he screamed out in pain.

Bokuto meanwhile grabbed as much cash as possible and stuffed it into the shopping bags. Looking around he saw the security cameras and one by one he aimed his gun and shot them down.

"We can't let the cops see those tapes." Akaashi said. He looked around and saw oil sitting outside the door. He smirked behind his mask as he began to pour it over the store. The aisles smelt of the horrible substance as they grabbed their bags and left the building.

Bokuto fumbled in his pocket for a lighter before setting a stream of oil on fire. They watched in awe as the shop burned up in flames.

The sound of sirens suddenly pierced their ears and they ran to their car. Hopping in the drivers seat, Bokuto began to drive at full speed. Akaashi looked out the window with his gun in his hands.

The police cars were hot on their tail. Akaashi pulled the trigger, firing at the cars. He saw glass shatter as his bullet hit the windshield of the nearest car. Bokuto continued to attempt to lose them. After thirty minutes of Akaashi ducking and shooting and Bokuto driving recklessly, they managed to lose them as Akaashi shot the tires of a truck. It stopped dead in the police's tracks.

They drove quickly to their apartment, hiding their masks and sneaking up the stairs. They quietly opened the door and threw the bags of cash into a nearby cupboard.

Akaashi kissed Bokuto passionately, pulling him in by wrapping his arms around the other's neck. They pulled apart for air before quickly kissing again. The fear of getting caught was too much for both of them and the image of losing each other still burned in their minds.

Eventually they stopped, sitting on the sofa and watching a tv show as they counted how much money they had grabbed. After a few hours, the night turned into early morning and the two went to bed, holding each other close in eachothers arms.

I hope you enjoyed the second part to my 3 part partners in Crime story. It's about to get really angsty and a little violent so I decided to end with a little bit of a happier ending. The next part will be the last and I can't wait to write it. I've been so excited to write this today. Final part might be out tomorrow by will definitely be done by the end of the week.
Bye kiddos!
