Chapter 8

Seven's POV

Tapping my point fingers on the cemented table without specific rhythm.

Slowly rubbing my temple.

And biting my lower lip with a weak force.

That's what I'm doing while reading this General Chemistry book at the Botanical Garden of our College building right now.

This place keeps me relaxed and gave me the fresh air that I always needed when I'm reading, letting my brain to feed more oxygen.

The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet even though there are some students like me that are also studying with their friends.

Medyo na distract lang ako ng may naglapag ng makapal na libro sa lamesa. I raised my pupil upward para tingnan kung sino ang mga bagong dating.

They both quietly smiled and waved their hands on me. I just nodded then get back on what's I was doing.

"Pa borrow naman ng orange highlighter mo Beau"

"Hiniram mo kaya 'yun kanina"

"Ha? Di ko ba nasoli? Wait, tingnan ko muna sa bag"

The conversations of the two of them are full of air. Whispering with a high pitch afraid that they might disturb me.

I close my book that made them look at me.

"Did we disturb you?" May pag-aalalang ani ni Clarence.

Umiling ako. "Nope, I'm actually done reading for this day"

Clarence stopped on ransacking his bag and began to demand for attention.

"Actually guys, gusto kong pag-usapan 'yung tungkol sa University Orientation sa Sunday. We are all going right?"

"Guess so, hindi tayo pumunta sa college orientation di ba? So we should go for that event"

I agree to Beau. Our college orientation was on last Saturday but we all agree not attend to it.

Our reasons?

Nothing special, we're just all not in the mood.

We discussed further what we're gonna do to the said event in our undertone voice. We don't want to disturb other's who's busy studying.

But the minimal noise of the Botanical Garden were suddenly shuddered into pieces. The murmurs of the people around slowly gets louder.

Lahat ng estudyante, including us in our table, ay nasa isang direksyon ang tingin sa naging rason ng biglang pag-ingay.

There are three young men that are being followed by the rays of the 3 o'clock sun, walking liked they are in a damn fashion show while holding some paper bags and carton that holds take-out iced coffees.

My head slightly tilt to the right side while looking at them.

What's with these guys?

Leading by Edge, whose all the way smiling, there are Drew and Felix that are also at their best time.

I heard a short and weak chuckled from Beau, so my attention turned towards her. She is now looking at me, she smile quickly like she's giving a hint or something, that I didn't catch.

"Bro! Anong ganap?" Bungad ni Clarence sa mga bagong dating.

"Wala naman, we're just delivering some snacks for the future wife. Hahaha"

Felix jokingly says but no one laughed. Siniko pa nga ito ni Drew.

Nilapag ng mga bagong dating ang mga dala nila sa lamesa.
