Chapter 11

Seven's POV

Napapaliit ang mga mata kong nakatingin kay Beau na may kausap sa cellphone, mga walong dipa rin ang layo nya sa amin ni Clarence. She looks arguing with her girlfriend. The way she puts her hands to her waist and her head tilting to the left side everytime she's just listening, it's clear—she is annoyed. I bet it's not just me, Clarence also can see it. Wala lang nagsasalita samin.

We're here at the parking lot of our college, nakasandal ako sa sasakyan ni Clarence habang nakatingin sa dereksyon ni Beau. While Clarence is beside me doing the same thing. Hindi nga lang sya nakasandal dahil magugusot daw ang damit nya.

It's the University Orientation day.
The place looks really festive with a lot of students around wearing colorful shirts and the noise came from the football field is very loud, abot nga hanggang entrance ng school kanina pagpasok namin.

"I don't think her girlfriend will last until next week, pustahan tayo" siko ni Clarence sakin.

"And I don't think you will also last until tommorow if Beau hears you" I blantly said.

Clarence just tsked and get his phone from his sling bag.

"You're no fun, I should do this with Felix"

Hindi ko na sya pinansin at umayos nalang ng tayo dahil mukhang tapos na si Beau sa tawag nya.

"Come on boys, sorry for the delay" Beau said ng makalapit sya samin. Her face is not as gloomy as I expected.

We all know that Beau always have a deadpan face, but being her friend for a long time, me and Clarence can now read her mood.

"I hope you guys are okay" ani ko ng may pag-aalala. Even though I don't like Sheena, she's still Beau's girlfriend and I don't want to see my friend brokenhearted at the end of the day.

"We're good, relationships without quarrels are boring" she said calmly and give me a reassuring smile.

"But too much quarrel results break up" dugtong ni Clarence habang nakatingin lang sa phone nya.

"I'm thinking about it"

Clarence and I looked at each other when Beau said that. She also started to walk away from us and headed to the footfall field.

Clarence just smirked at me bago sumunod kay Beau. I know, he won. Buti nalang di ako pumusta at wala rin naman akong ipang-pupusta.

Nang nasa football field na ay dumeretso agad kami sa registration area. There's still one hour before the orientation starts pero may kataasan na ang pila.

When we're done with the registration ay hindi muna kami naghanap ng mauupuan, na hindi ko alam kung bakit. Clarence suggested it, maybe he's waiting for someone dahil kanina pa sya kalikot ng kalikot sa phone nya.

Inabala ko nalang ang sarili sa mga binigay na freebies ng SSC kanina. They gave us keychains and snacks. And there is also a white pinback button with printed number na dapat ilagay daw sa bandang dibdib namin at wag iwawala. Pinicturan ko muna ito dahil ang number na nakuha ko ay kagaya sa number ni Gon ng  Hunter Hunter during his hunter exams. It's #405. Guess it's destiny, he is one of my favorite in that anime, especially his character development.

"Tara guys, sa area B tayo upo" yaya ni Clarence at naunang naglakad.

When the three of us settled I asked Clarence if where is the CBA guys are. I'm just wondering, akala ko kasi ay si Felix ang ka-chat nya kanina pa.

"Medyo busy sila ngayon, pero nandito sila. Di ko lang sure kung san banda" he answed.

I just nodded and didn't ask again. Maybe this day I won't see those guys faces. Nung mga nakaraang araw kasi ay madalas silang pumunta sa college namin, mostly tuwing hapon. Lagi rin silang may dalang pagkain kaya nakakatipid kaming tatlo sa meryenda. I guess it's better na hindi ko nga sila makita, because I can't take Edge's weirdness that is getting worst each day. Kung di ko lang alam na may special someone sya, ay mag co-conclude na talaga ako na may gusto sya sakin! And worst, of course —for heaven's sake! He's a guy!
