Chapter 19

SKY

She was at the garden again, looking at the flowers. She's wearing a simple white dress that has floral design on it. And the snow this time falls heavily, Sky could see the fogs from her breath. It is now very cold in the west, but the cold didn't bother her... She's used to it. She started walking further, looking at the flowers that seems to be unbothered by the snow, she then saw the fountain that is frozen but never the less it is still beautiful.

"Aren't you cold?" Sky suddenly turned around, she saw Lena standing behind her, she saw her face again, that beautiful face that seems to take her breath away. And she was glad that the scar on her face has vanish. Blinking, Sky bowed at Lena and then kept her gaze down, not meeting her eyes.

"I'm fine, my Queen." Lena didn't answer, she stared at the fountain before looking back at Sky. She then held her cheek where the scar had once been. She wouldn't have notice it if Catherine hadn't ask about it.

"Did you already shift?" She asked Sky.

"I haven't yet my queen." Sky felt intimidated, she wasn't used to having the queen stand right beside her, because the last time that she stand near to her, it didn't end well.

"Then how did your nails turn into claws?" Sky felt Lena take a step closer to her and she back away.

"I don't know." Lena took a step again and Sky back away, that continued until Sky's back hit the tree that was standing near them.

"You don't know?" Sky nods her head, she felt Lena's hand on her arm and then under her chin, Lena then made her look up to meet those green eyes.

"You healed me didn't you?" Sky shook her head.

"I didn't." Lena's eyebrow furrowed.

"You are not good at lying pet. But i do hope you already know i hate liars. Now tell me...Why did you do it?" Sky just stared at Lena, she seems to be so lost in those green depts. Like an ocean with angry waves, it kept her down. Without meaning too Sky's hand raised and she touch Lena's cheeks.

"So beautiful." She said, Lena was taken aback by the spark that blooms into her chest when Sky complimented her, she hiss and slaps Sky's hand.

"Don't touch me!" Sky flinched. Then her eyes were filled with fear again, she raised her arm covering herself.

Lena suddenly felt pitty. She bit her lower lips. Sky looks like a child, she's naive.

Sighing Lena gently put her hands on Sky's wrist and gently pulled it away from covering face.

"I'm not gonna hurt you." She said looking down at Sky.

"Look at me pet, look me in the eyes." Sky slowly raised her head.

"I know you are a good girl.... As long as you do as i say, as long as you behave that punishment won't happen again. And as long as you stay away from Lysandra...I'll treat you good. Do you understand?" Sky doubted Lena's words. But never the less she answered.

"Yes, my queen." Lena then smirk at her.

"Call me Mistress."

"Yes....Mistress." Lena then let go of her and then she patted her head before leaving. Sky watched as Lena leave. Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes again and then released her breath. The queen.... She's very unpredictable. She's very.....mysterious and very hard to read.

"Oh! There you are, i was looking for you." Sky looked at Shahara who seems to be worried.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Erm....The regent, she's looking for you."

"There you are. What took you so long?" Sky bow down when she saw the regent, she's holding a golden chain and it's looks like she's going out.
