THE BLOOD HOST

LENA

Lena watched Sky as she read a book in the garden. She liked her new look, with her new hairstyle and the dresses that she and Catherine chooses for her. It make her golden collar stand out.

She didn't even know why they are wasting their time at Sky, but that girl made them relax and relieve their stresses. And Sky's blood.

Just rembering what it taste like makes her mouth water. She hadn't met a single wolf that has blood like Sky, but maybe it has something to do with her being almost a human.

Sky is very weak, Lena could smell it. And her instinct told her to eat Sky, to suck her dry, but another side of her told her to protect Sky and that what's annoys her. And the way her dead heart would suddenly beat whenever she drank her blood made her more mad. But it's addictive, and that's why she decided to make her, her own blood host.

Lena have already announced it to her council men. Of course some of them disagree with it. They don't want her drinking blood from someone that isn't a human or a noble blood.

Even lord Borington was againts it shocking her. Lord Borington wasn't known to go againts her or even question her. But they couldn't do anything because she gets what she wants.

She even informed Catherine about it. And of course she agreed as long as she won't left any scar on Sky.

"Your majesty?" Lena straightened up and stared at the guard that called her.

"Yes?"

"A message came from lord Darius." Lena wasn't expecting to hear anything from his father. They hadn't spoke in years.

"What is it?"

"He is asking you to visit the manor in west. Lady Ellaina wanted to see you. News have reached her about Princess Lysandra being missing." Lena bit her lip, the last thing she wanted is to face her mother.

"Very well, prepare my things, i want my paper to be transfered in the manor. I'll be leaving tomorrow."She said, but first she wanted another taste of that blood. She went down to the garden and faced Sky. Though she didn't notice her right away because she's too busy reading. Lena snached the book that Sky was reading.

"Mistress." Sky said standing up and bowing.

"I see that you are finally able to read" Lena said examining the book, she noticed that it was a romance book.

"Is this what she's making you read? A romance novel?" She saw Sky blush, and she found it amusing seeing that face turn red.

"Y-yes Mistress." Lena then read the page and she became more amused when she found out the Sky is reading an erotic romance.

"Do you understand this pet?" She asked and Sky shook her head.

"I do not understand what they were doing in that chapter, in fact i don't understand why the characters do that in almost every chapter Mistress." Lena smirked, she shook her head and, she then reached out and touched Sky's hair.

"Don't worry...you'll be able to understand it. Want me to teach you?" She said leaning down, Sky blushed once again when Lena did that. She wasn't used having Lena's face closer to her.

"I....i...uh.... I don't know Mistress." Lena laughed and shake her head, as if she can do anything about it, like she said before She's the Queen of this realm and she's going to get whatever she want even if it means taking it by force.

"Come with me. We need to talk." She said. And Sky followed her back to her room, she felt Sky tense again, she could hear her heart beating faster and her blood rushing. The scent of fear and anxiety covered the air as soon as she closed the door.
