Sky is staring out in the window of the carriage that they were in. Lena and Catherine decided to take her with them. She felt exited and happy as Catherine allowed her to look outside whe window. And for the first time she saw a real tree.
"Those are pine trees" Catherine said as Sky looked outside. She also could see a frozen river and many houses, but as they went out of the border of the Trading City, all Sky could see is trees. And then she would ask Catherine a question whenever she saw new creatures.
"That is a rabbit." Catherine answered with a sigh.
"Tell me why didn't you agree to bring Shahara with us?" Catherine asked Lena. Sky was dissapointed when Shahara told her that she wasn't coming with them.
"She doesn't want to." Was Lena's short reply. Sky was still busy sight seeing when she gets a glimps of something moving and following their carriage. She stayed silent and focused her gaze to try and see what it is. And when it comes to view, Sky gasp and her face lighten up.
"Wolf!" She shouted, startling Catherine and Lena. The wolf was a normal wolf, but Sky still felt excited upon seeing one. And it was not alone. The grey wolf was with his pack and it kept on following them.
"Cornelia." Lena called out, Cornelia and her troops are guarding them. Cornelia peek from the other side of the window, she's ridding her horse.
"Yes my Queen?" Lena looked back at the right window and she saw the group of wolves following them.
"The wolves are following us, it is safe." Cornelia smiled at her and nod.
"We are near the Waevlor's border, those wolves are their pets. They are completely harmless, your majesty." Lena nodded her head and sit back, she looked at Sky who seems to enjoy the ride more than anyone.
Sky was still looking at the wolves as it followed them up until to the border, when they entered the village of Westwinter they stopped. Sky then saw the small houses and people filled the street.
"Close the curtain pet." Catherine said and Sky did as what she was told. She then looked at Lena whose eyes were closed, and then to Catherine who was looking down at her. She suddenly blushed and looked away, she tensed though when she felt Catherine's hand slowly caressing her hair.
"When we arrive at the Manor i want you to behave. Do not go outside the gates or venture at the back of the house. You are only allowed at the garden."
"Yes Mistress." Sky answered. Sky waited patiently, listening to the turning of the wheels and the murmur of the people outside the Carriage. When everything went silent, she asked Catherine if she could open the Drapes, Catherine looked at Lena before nodding her head and allowing Sky to open the drapes.
When she did, Sky was greeted by a magnificent view, she saw the mountains covered in snow, and a meadow, she could also see the frozen river and there were deers. If Sky had finally shifted she wouldn't be able to stop herself from shifting and chasing the deers. But her attention was quickly captured by the view of the Manor. A magnificent house stood.
When they finally arrive at the Manor, Sky couldn't help but feel excited to explore the large house.
"Stay." Catherine whispered to her as she put a leash on Sky and gave it to one of the guards to hold. Then suddenly....the air went still, the chirping of the birds stops and everyone tense as a man steps out of the mansion. Sky's mouth drops open, the man is tall and large, her size was nothing compared to him, he has a long gash on his face. And he had Silver eyes.
"Father." Lena said bowing a little. Sky couldn't believe it, this man is the father of the Queen....well, now she knows where Lena had gotten her cold attitude.
