Kim Yujin had just missed the bus... again.
This time however, the driver wasn't as gracious and simply kept driving, leaving the poor girl panting on the sidewalk.
She checked her watch; it was 8:35. If she ran fast enough she might make it to school on time.
And so, Kim Yujin was now sprinting on the side of the street, hair flying in all directions, face red and backpack jumping at her every move.
Fortunately, she made it in time.
Unfortunately, she was now a sweating mess and her legs hurt. She already knew she'd be sore tomorrow.
As the girl was nearing the school gate, she noticed Go Namsoon sighing. "I'm pretty sure I'll die today."
"At least you know it," Hakyung replied, mockingly. She held an angered look on her face as she added, "What did you do yesterday? If I don't come to the class immediately you will tell everyone that I used to take Kang Sechan's private lessons? How dare you threaten me through a message? I told you to shut your mouth."
"What if I shut my mouth? Did you block Teacher Kang's mouth securely?" he answered, irritated.
"If you ever act like you know it again, you're dead," she hissed.
"This chick keeps saying-" he lashed out.
"Just carry your backpack. Are you a gangster?" Hakyung sneered, cutting him off.
Yujin chuckled softly at the two's antics as she past by them. "And to think he'd get his cover blown because of a backpack.."
When she entered Classroom 2-2, Nari and Hyesun were already there. The girl raised an eyebrow in interest.
"Where we you yesterday?" Nari asked. "You weren't at the after-school class!"
"You know I have work," Yujin replied while sitting down.
"Ah, right.. Anyways! You missed something big, Jungho and Namsoon fought!"
"Again?!"
"Yeah! They were together on the rooftop! The whole class was banging on the door to get them to stop but they ignored us," Hyesun added.
"I heard someone say Namsoon escaped from the fight by jumping down and swinging from the poles like Spider-man," Nari marveled.
"Nari! Those are just rumours people made up to gossip! Namsoon isn't even that athletic, he couldn't have done that," Hyesun laughed.
