"President, please collect the individual study plans well," Teacher Kang said during the morning meeting.

"Also, the self-introductions!" Teacher Jung chimed in.

"Well.. That's about it. President?"

With a scowl, the Class President stood up and spoke, "Attention. Bow."

Yujin looked at Namsoon dumbfounded as he commanded the greeting, wondering what could have possibly happened for him to change. In the end, she decided to simply shrug it off, not wishing to meddle with what didn't concern her.

When the two homeroom teachers finally left the classroom, the girl laid on her desk, head in her arm, falling asleep. To her disappointment, however, she was awoken by Go Namsoon who was collecting the homework. Keeping her eyes closed, she reached for her bag, touching around to find the two sheets. Once she found them, Yujin handed them over to the class president who took the wrinkled papers, raising his eyebrow and giving the girl a amused look as she went back to sleep.

The truth was, after her painfully boring shift at work, she had stumbled around town, already half asleep, only to shoot back awake once her head touched her pillow. It was as if all the tiredness she had accumulated during the day had completely vanished, leaving her awake and strangely, empty.

Her mind had wondered around, thinking about life, pleasant thoughts, yes, but mostly not-so pleasant ones. Her torturous pondering was finally interrupted once her alarm sounded at 5:30 am, notifying the girl that she had to get ready for work.

As Namsoon walked out the class, his mind couldn't help but wander back to the sleeping girl. He thought about her deep eyebags, which she didn't even bother covering up, the way her body slumped to the desk, as if it weight to much for her to carry. He could see the exhaustion emanating from the girl, both physically and mentally, and he couldn't help but wonder if it was the same for all other top students.

He entered the teacher's office, handing both homeroom teachers their respective papers.

"You got them all?" they both said at the same time. The two adults looked at each other, shocked.

"No," Namsoon simply replied, "the ones who did not finish will turn it in later."

"What about you?" Teacher Jung asked.
