When Kim Yujin entered Class 2-2 after her excursion on the school's rooftop, she was met with a bickering Gil Eunhye and Nam Kyungmin. She simply rolled her eyes and sat down, her bad mood evident.
"So if you didn't take it, who did?" Kyungmin's voice boomed in the room, her anger clear.
"For what reason would I take that?" Eunhye replied with a haughty look. "I wouldn't take that because I know you are so petty."
"We're the only three who knew about that notebook-" Kyungmin fumed, but stopped herself mid-way.
She then proceeded to Hakyung's desk, opening her bag and emptying it's content everywhere. Not finding what she was looking for, she started digging threw the girl's desk before gripping a homemade notebook.
At that same moment, Song Hakyung entered the class, her eyes making their way over to the mess.
"Hakyung," Kyungmin said, seething. "You said that you couldn't join the class because we were low. But I guess you needed this? You stole it."
"Do you have the evidence?" she simply replied.
"If you didn't steal it, can you explain why this was in your desk?" Eunhye added.
"How would I know?" Hakyung answered, irritated.
"I was the one who put it there," Namsoon interfered.
"You?"
"Yeah. It was in the trash," he explained.
"So why did you think it was Song Hakyung's?" Gil Eunhye asked, confused but tried not to show it.
"Ah, that... Youngwo-"
"Because she is the Vice-President, I guess you want to take her side," Kyungmin deduced. "This is my cousin's. She's a total thief. She acted as if she was a noble, but.."
"Be careful of your words," Hakyung threatened, her voice calm yet authoritative.
"Calling a thief 'a thief', is that wrong?"
"What's the problem?" Teacher Jung asked as she entered the class, noticing the cluster of students around the two girls.
Taking her backpack with her, Hakyung left, not even glancing back as she did so.
