It's not at all hard to understand a person; it's only hard to listen without bias.

Kim Yujin was currently in math class; half of Class 2-2 was asleep, the other half solving problems.

Noticing the problems Teacher Uhm had just wrote on the board, she quickly answered them on a ripped piece of paper.

"No. 2, No. 24 and No. 35, come out and solve these problems," Teacher Uhm ordered.

Of course, he always made sure to ask the worst students in the subject, and having predicted such an outcome, Yujin placed the paper with the answers in the palm of Nari's hand as the teacher was distracted. There was no way in hell she was letting her friend get humiliated in front of the class.

Nari walked to the front of the class with Jungho, while Kim Minki remarked, "We don't have a No. 35 in our class."

"There is the transfer student," he replied matter-of-factly.

Yujin turned to look at her seatmate in worry. He ignored her glance and remained seated.

"Park Heungsoo, come up front," Teacher Uhm instructed once more.

He stood up but didn't move an inch.

"Come up and solve it."

"I can't solve it."

The class started murmuring, occasionally letting out a whisper loud enough for Yujin to hear. "Is he too stupid to solve the problem?"

"Come up and hold the chalk," Teacher Uhm ordered.

Yujin was now breathing heavily, focusing all her might on calming down and not lashing out. She was trembling from anger and closed her eyes as she saw red.

She understood how Heungsoo was feeling and she was beyond pissed.

The truth was, Yujin never particularly liked teachers. If it wasn't for her trying to be a better person, she wouldn't be so nice and respectful to them. Each and every one she came across was incredibly biased and prejudiced.

To them, if something bad happened, it's always the "delinquents' " fault. There was no point trying to figure out who the culprit was, who else could it possibly be? Nonetheless, they would never officially punish the perpetrators, simply reinforce their own beliefs that they were problematic and a lost cause.

Yujin used to never get along with them, and they didn't either. The feeling was 100% mutual which only made the teachers discriminate against her even more, even if she happened to be innocent.
