[7] The Third Fall

"Bye, mom!" I shouted and walked out of our house. I'm not really in a hurry because I'm still an hour early for our class, I just want to make sure that I won't be late since laboratory discussion namin ngayon.

Malapit na din kami magrecite nung mga diseases so while I'm in the taxi I'm reading and memorizing it. Studying health course needs criticism thingking, familiarization, reading, and memorization because you'll handle a persons life.

Our clinical instructors always tell us that, we should be careful in everything that we'll perform and say to our future patients. It doesn't matter if you know or don't know them personally, quality health care is the most common goal of every health care professionals, that is why there are a lot of things that should be considered.

When I looked outside to see if we're near the school, I saw his face. I was caught off guard after seeing him since after that day, Mariae and I decided not to talk about. More like, I pushed and decided not to talk about it. I don't want any distractions as of now, if ever that what they are saying is true then I'll just wait that Psalm will be the one who'll tell me about it.

Besides, they told me that he already have a girlfriend, and I'm not the girl who'll gossip around to know if he really has a crush on me.
But, I don't know what I'll do if tama yung sinasabi nila. The guy is like every girls imagination you know, pero for me his disheveled hair and piercing attracts me the most.

I want to get pierced too, maybe I'll do it kapag sure na ako na hindi ako papalayasin ni mom sa bahay. Also, bawal sa amin health course students to wear many accessories allowed lang is watch. I doubt naman na mapa-practice pa yan sa real life setting, because as I can see whenever I go to the hospital most of the health professionals there wear earrings and rings.

After paying the driver, pumunta na ako sa library to read. Hindi naman kasi packed ang library of ordinary school days, since yung mga students dito mas prefer pumunta sa garden. Napupuno lang naman ang library during exams, that's why the librarian is more scary kasi talagang she'll observe the students and ring the bell if ang ingay na.

I sat on the long table kung saan tutok yung aircon and may socket. This is my usual spot kapag nag-aaral for me mas peaceful ang library kesa sa garden. As soon as I was settled and nakalabas na yung mga notes ko, I read the book and review. One thing that you should know if you'll choose health allied course is to expect that there will always be a test, sometimes whole day nangyayari yun.

For a week na-experience na namin yun, talagang bombarded kami sa tests and quizzes nila. Literal na sumakit yung ulo namin kasi 'di namin inexpect yun, although alam namin na may quiz.

While I was having my 10 minute break, I got a text from Mariae telling me to go to the cafeteria to munch breakfast. Before leaving, inayos ko muna yung table ko placing my things under it. I scanned the library to look for someone na pwede got tumingin ng gamit ko and luckily I saw a girl studying not far from my seat.

"Excuse me, pwede mo bang bantayan yung gamit ko? I'll just go somewhere but I'll be back."

The girl looked up from what she's reading, and oh boy I suddenly regret that I disturbed her. She was reading Anatomy and Physiology book, prolly a nursing student and her eyes looked tired.

She smiled at me and nodded, and before she can even go read again I called her again.

"Thank you and sorry for disturbing you. Uh do you need something?"
