[8] The Beginning

I was very thankful na hindi ko nakita si Psalm sa school, pero nabingi naman ako sa bunganga ni Mariae kasi walang tigil sa pag mention kay Psalm. I can't tease her with Theo kasi so far wala naman silang interaction talaga.

It's Saturday, Mariae and I decided to go to a coffee shop and just relax. We also planned to go to the mall and shop, we badly need a breather for all the school requirements we did. No chill yung mga professors namin sa pag bigay ng workload, pero late naman sila nagbigay ng grades, which is very frustrating.

I checked my phone to see if Mariae's already awake, I don't want to barge in her house just to wake her up. That girl's not a morning person, also I'm sure nandoon sina tita which means if ever man na mag-offer sila ng foods dapat hindi ko tanggihan kasi sabi nga "Take and receive." Sadly, wala pang message si Mariae, sinusulit niya talaga yung rest day namin.

After some time, my phone beeped and I checked it. Kumunot yung noo ko after reading the message, it was Mariae informing me na kasama namin sina Theo and Psalm. Paano nangyari yun? Ang usapan naman kami lang dalawa, bakit biglang kasama na namin sila?

I replied to her saying na pumunta na siya dito sa amin at mag-uusap kami. I took a shower for some time. After taking a shower, I opened my closet to look and choose an outfit. Ang hirap naman pumili ng damit kung yung color is very limited, my clothes and dresses color are only brown, white, black, blue, and pink.

"Alondra! Mariae's here, aalis na daw kayo."

I heard my mom shout outside the door, I quickly grabbed my high-waisted jeans, and a white crop top. I paired it with black flat sandals, and a black sling bag. After wasting so much time in choosing an outfit, itong usual get up ko lang naman pala ang ending ko.

"Alondra Eiroa ano ba? Naghihintay si Mariae sayo!"

"I'm coming mom!" I shouted back, after putting a lip balm and powder lumabas na ako, greeted by my mom's glares.

"Diba sabi ko sayo, okay ng ikaw ang maghintay basta wag kang nagpapahintay!"

I don't know if I should laugh or be scared at my mom, grabe she really have a deal about waiting kaya gusto niya palagi maaga kami umaalis and nag-aayos kapag may mga lakad kami.

"I'm sorry, I won't be late next time. Besides, it was Mariae's fault. She woke up late and I'm waiting for her." I reasoned out, pero mali ata yun kasi parang gusto na ako kurotin ni mom.

"Kahit na! Next time don't do that again, okay?" Galit pa din na sabi niya.

"Noted, Attorney Mom! I'll be going na, what do you want for pasalubong?" I cutely smiled at her, and cling on her arm.

We walked side by side, and I'm still being clingy to her even though we're walking down the staircase. I saw Mariae sitting comfortably in our living room, talagang may cookies pa siya na kinakain.

"Mom! You gave my cookies to Mariae? Edi I don't have cookies na?" I asked mom, she smiled apologetically.

"Sorry baby, she said that she was hungry and haven't eaten her breakfast yet that's why I offered her your cookies, don't worry I'll ask your dad to bake again for you. Love you!"

"Fine, but I'm still tampo about the cookies. What do you want for pasalubong mom?"

"I want pizza. Buy four, okay?" I just nodded and noted about the pizza thing.
