As Harry walked into the house, I had never felt more relieved, running over to him and wrapping my arms around him in a hug. "I THOUGHT YOU SAID JUST THE SENIOR CLASS!" I yelled once stepping away from him, smacking him on the chest.
"Umm... I never said that. You assumed and my dear how wrong you were, your party is the talk of the town!" Harry laughed, patting my head and messing up my hair. I huffed at him and took a look at the brimming house. At least we had insurance on most of these things...
How bad could things get... Mom and Dad were upstairs, all the rooms were locked, we had nothing too illegal? Looking over Harry's shoulder I noticed Izzy walking in with Adrian, a strange duo, but in hindsight, nothing was strange for me anymore. Shoving Harry, he turned to face the two as well, and I mentally prepared for the freakout. I had gone radio silent and my first reentrance was to throw a party... Could you say cliche bad girl? No? Good.
Izzy wrapped her arms around me in a hug, before replicating my encounter with Harry moments ago and smacking me on the head. "Never worry me like that again! I almost had to call your parents to make sure you hadn't just skipped town." She huffed, running a hand through her hair.
Adrian was silent though, taking everything in. Taking me in? I shifted and wrapped my arms around myself, "let's all get a drink before they disappear." I suggested, spinning on my heel and high tailing it away from that threesome of awkwardness awaiting me.
"You are so bad at confrontation," I whispered to myself as I poured myself of glass and waited for the three to join me. I could see that the number of people streaming in had died down, which was a blessing and I poured another glass.
"Just gotta make it to 2am and they should leave right?" I mumbled as Harry and Izzy poured themselves a glass.
"Aw sweets, you are such a party noob," a familiar shrill voice entered my ears.
"Don't slap..." Izzy warned herself? or me? I wasn't too sure, as we all turned to face Lindsey. She was pouring herself a drink from the other side of the island, a drunk football player on her arm and I sighed.
"Well, what can I say? I really wanted to keep that good GPA up and let loose senior year, truly a gift I say." I spat out some nonsense, shrugging my shoulder and taking another shot.
"I mean what else was a quiet girl like you to do? Not like you were getting invited much," she shrugged.
"Lindsey, I thought we squashed this." I released an exasperated breath.
"Doesn't mean I can't still tease you," she smirked slightly, before grabbing the bottle I had just poured another shot from and leaving.
"At least she didn't embarrass you?" Izzy offered, looking at me.
"It's not like I'm ever throwing a party again, mom and dad could never agree to this chaos more than once. I'm going to owe them MY allowance for life if these people break anything." I groaned, not even daring to take a look around.
"That is facts, well... I'm going to enjoy it while I can. PARTY AT KENZ!" She chanted, before going into the swarm of dancing bodies, waving Harry and me over.
"After you?" He questioned and I shook my head.
"I've got to talk to Adrian, but go on and have a good time, I'll catch up with you." I smiled, picking up my cup and making my way through the packed living room.
I heard something smash from nearby and didn't dare stop moving to find Adrian. Never. Doing. This. Again.
