"Who is he?" Dylan asked me. To be honest, he surprised me with that simple question. After all these years of fanboying, I know one thing for sure- Dylan Evans doesn't show interest in anybody without reason. So, why did he suddenly ask about him? I couldn't figure out and hence simply chose to answer his question.

"Umm.. He is my neighbor, Lucas."

"Neighbor?" He raised his brows, "Then what is he doing here?"

"Not sure." I moved forward to remove his coat. His perfume hit my nostrils. This might be the best smell my nose ever picked up. I took a mental note to dig out which perfume he used today. Aha! I might be the first fan to know what he smells like. I laughed at my own thoughts.

"Why are you laughing?" he asked.

I handed him over his trousers and t-shirt and said, "Not laughing at you."
I came out of the locker room providing him some privacy.

I was scrolling through my social media when I heard confident clicking sounds of high heels. Sure enough, it was Clara Miller with her assistant John Smith ( my nemesis).

I was pulling my hairs off from my head (inside my head). He was smirking at me.

"We meet again, Mr. Nate Williamson." He took off his shades still smirking at me.

"Yeah." I said.

Miss. Miller wanted to enter the locker room to which I politely reply, "My boss is currently changing his clothes, please wait for a few moments outside."

"Mr. Nate, I hope you haven't forgotten who Miss. Clara is. She is the female lead of this movie. Not to mention, your boss is probably playing one of the side characters. Ah! So frustrating! Why does this place only have one locker room? Miss, I suggest we bring our own vanity van to the workshop from tomorrow onwards." This John, does he even know how to keep his mouth shut??????

Clara Miller replied after a million years, " Can your boss be a little gentlemanly? He can't possibly keep a lady waiting here!"

"Huh! C list actors!!" John snickered.

They clearly didn't know whose assistant I was! This is going to be more fun than I thought!

The door opened and I stepped aside. I was dying to see their reaction when they see it was Dylan and not my previous boss inside.

Dylan came out and nodded towards her. She immediately blushed. Bitch.
John's mouth remained opened.

"Mr. Dylan.. I will be at your care for now onwards." Clara spoke breaking the silence.

"Please take care of me too." Dylan said exposing his perfectly shaped white teeth. She blushed deeper.

I had the urge to roll my eyes. But what else could I do. I am here as his assistant and not a fan. I had to be professional.

"This way, Mr. Evans." I showed him the way to practice room. This place was not new to me, I came here before as well with my previous employer. So I knew the way just as the back of my hand.

The dance practice was going on smoothly. Because both Dylan and Clara were pro dancers. The OST was melodious with a romantic vibe to it with only piano, acoustic guitars, bongo, violins and some other instruments I don't know names of. It was a total masterpiece!!! I was so done with electronic music to be honest, this type of song sounded so fresh and soothing to my nerves. There was something primitive about it. I don't know when I started moving along with the melody, it was that good!

I know roughly about dance forms. The dance routine they were practicing seemed to be contemporary. Dylan has such clean lines and Clara is grace redefined - perfect duo.

I almost wanted to loudly cheer for him! Haha, thank God I controlled myself in time!

He was sweating. Water! Yes I needed to prepare water for him. I almost forgot.

I came back with a bottle of water as soon as I could. Ah! The practice was still going on.

I sat down cross-legged on the floor, waiting for the rehearsal to end, when someone came and sat besides me. I immediately got tensed at this unwanted closeness. I stiffly turned my face towards the person who just entered my personal bubble.

Lucas smiled at me and asked, "Did I make you uncomfortable?" His smile visibly relaxed me.

"No. I am alright" I returned him the smile.

"I am the assistant director." Lucas explained.

"Ah! I am Mr. Evan's new assistant."

"Err.. since we are colleagues and neighbors, umm.. can I have your number?" He asked scratching his head.

"Sure!" I took out my phone and saved his contact.

"So, are we friends?" he asked smiling once again.

I don't generally make friends in real life. I am as introverted as one could be. But Lucas' vibes somehow clicked with me. Hence I accepted this offline friend request without hesitation.

"Yes!" I said.

We were chatting happily when someone snatched the water bottle from my hand.

"It's for Dyl..."

"Can you please pay more attention to your work and less on gossiping???" Dylan spoke in an emotionless tone.

I gulped.

Dylan's pov:

He swayed like a happy puppy with the music. He looked adorable. I was pleased to see his eyes following my every move. If someone told me at that point that he was my fan, I would truly believe it. He looked as if he was worshipping me.

But I couldn't enjoy this attention for long. Yeah, you guessed it right. He busied himself with his 'neighbor'. He even didn't notice when the rehearsal stopped! I had to take water from him instead of him bringing it to me.

He really needs to get his eyes checked.
