My straight logic and mushy heart were currently having a debate about my current predicament.

Brain:
He fainted from a simple cut? How is this even possible??

Heart:
But look at how fragile he looks in your arms. Maybe it was painful for him. Broken glasses have sharp edges.

Brain:
Big brother, it's just a broken glass not combat knife.

Heart:
Can't you just pretend it was BC- 41??? Poor guy, see how pale he looks...

I have absolutely no idea what am I supposed to do with this nearly-dead-body. Uncle Thomas must be sleeping by now. So, must be other house-helps.

Google.. yes Google must know the steps.

Google search: How to take care of a fainted person?

Results:

Position the person on his or her back.

If there are no injuries and the person is breathing, raise the person's legs above heart level - about 12 inches (30 centimeters) - if possible. Loosen belts, collars or other constrictive clothing. To reduce the chance of fainting again, don't get the person up too quickly.

Hmm. This seems suitable.

Step 1: position Nate on his back.

Looking left and right, I found no suitable position for putting him down. His bed was wet from all those rain splatters, floor is messed up from broken glass shards and rain, there's no couch or sofa in his room. I felt helpless as reality hit me. I will have to drag him out of the room. Wait! I can't drag an unwell person. Ahem, I have carry him out of the room- this seems enough gentlemanly.

But the next question was, where should I take him? Living room? No, he can't sleep comfortably on a sofa. Kitchen counter? Inappropriate. Dining table? Too high, what if he crash lands on the floor? Tsk tsk. This won't do. I better take him to my room. My bed is big enough for three grownup persons. Yes. This is the best solution.

I carefully lifted him up horizontally draping his limp arms around my neck and shoulders. His head was gently rested on my chest. He looked so peacefully calm, unlike his usual stupid self.

Laying him down gently on my bed, I looked for the second step.

Step 2: ... No injuries.. person breathing.. raise leg above heart level.

This step is easier. I climbed on the bed and positioned myself near his leg. Grabbing his ankles I rested his legs on my shoulders. Eh! Why does this seem inappropriate?

I re-read the second step again.

... Raise leg above heart level.. 12 inches above..

Oh! Only 12 inches. Pillows would work.

I brought his legs back on the bed, grabbed two cushions and placed his legs above them. Perfect!

Step 3: loosen belt.. collar... Clothing.

Does this mean I have to undress him? He was supposed to be my assistant and not the other way around.

My eyes slowly travelled throughout the length of his body. His perfectly toned legs were visibly smooth, his t-shirt was disheveled showing portions of his boxers, his plump pink lips were slightly parted as he inhaled through his mouth. His eyes were closed and head slightly tilted on the right side causing his right cheek to puff up- adorable.

I was afraid to lift him up again, not that he was heavy. I can lift heavy weights. But because my perfectly healthy heart was suddenly showing abnormal functions. I could hear my heart beats.

Ignoring all the ill omens, I decided to save Nate's life. Lifting him up as gently as I could, I pulled that damn oversized t-shirt out of his torso. Why does he smells like baby powder? Eh! He had a baby tummy, but Lord! How can a guy have such a smooth and flawless skin???

Nate looked like a fallen angel on my bed. Something about him triggered my protective instincts. I will protect him at all costs. Err.. because he is my employee.

It was for the first time in years that I will go to bed with someone.

Do I need to consult cardiologist? My heart rate is abnormally fast.

Next, I cleaned his wound and bandaged it too. Covering Nate and myself with my blanket, I turned off the lights. Closing my eyelids, I waited patiently for the morning to arrive.

Pihu has finally entered her dream university. So, she decided it was a occasion worth celebrating! She even made plans with all her friends including Nate. Geez, but all of them bailed out on her. No one was coming.

Poor her! She decided to celebrate her loneliness and her admission to university all by herself!!

"Three vodka shots please!" Pihu said to the bartender.

The club's music was loud as usual. But she was quite in the mood to dance tonight.

Bottom's up! She said to herself.

Aarrghh! She could feel the burn down her throat.

Feeling the beats, she went to the dance floor and began dancing like some weird bird in the forest dancing to impress his mate.

She was engulfed in her own bubble when an unwanted hand grabbed her by the butt.

The touch disappeared as soon as it came. Pihu turned her drunk body around.

An extremely attractive male specimen was staring at her.

But being attractive doesn't give you the license to sexually harass people!

Slap!

Her hand and his cheek - both were burning from that slap. His spects flew away, people around them were looking at them. But Pihu didn't care of the chaos she was causing.

"You pervert! I will sue you!!"

Armaan couldn't believe this was his reward for saving her from that assaulter. This was truly Kalyug!

A/N : According to Hinduism, there are four epochs. Last of them is Kalyug. We are presently at Kalyug- the time when humanity declines, evil rises, good deeds go unappreciated.

So when he saved her, but she slapped him- he realised it was indeed Kalyug where people are slowly forgetting how to appreciate good works.
