Nate's face was hovering over Dylan's when he opened his sleepy eyes. At first he thought, Nate climbed on his bed.

"Mr. Dylan, we should head off now. I have packed all the luggage. It's really getting late. Get up." Nate's words brought him back to reality, he was the one who climbed onto Nate's bed and not the other way around.

He felt embarrassed having fallen asleep at such ungodly hour. But what puzzled him was, "How?" How did he manage to fall asleep? With his godforsaken insomnia, not even sleeping pills were working on him. Then how on earth did this miracle happen?

Dylan kept thinking throughout their journey back home. He could not find any satisfactory answer.

"Sir, we reached home." Alexander informed.

Nate's POV

"Welcome home, Mr. Nate Williamson." I heard my Santa's voice as soon as I alighted the car.

"Sorry to keep you waiting for so long, Mr. Thomas." His happy features always made me smile.

"Show Nate his room." Dylan spoke.

"Yes, sure. This way."

I followed Mr. Thomas like the obedient kid I was. The house help kindly carried my luggage upstairs. Haih, they had to stay awake for so long just for me.

We were on the second floor. By 'we' I meant Mr. Thomas, the house-help, Dylan and me. Umm.. Dylan too followed us because second floor was reserved for him. Wait.. does this not mean I will be the only other resident on this floor except him? Eeeeee.. wow did I get so lucky ?!! Hahaha, my room was now mere metres apart from my idol's.

Excitement was bubbling in my stomach. How can I sleep knowing he is so near? Nate, stop your brain from running wild.

"Always smiling like a fool." Dylan chirped in.

I had no idea that I was smiling at my own silly thoughts. Aaaaa, God! Just save me from this embarrassment.

"Aaaa-I must be tired, hehe, so acting weird." I manufactured a lame excuse with my guilty brain.

"Nate, this is your room." Along with Mr. Thomas' kind voice, something else entered my ears too- a distant rumbling of clouds. It's going to rain. Great, now I need to spend the night listening to music.

"Thank you so much for your help. I can manage from here. Please go and have some rest. You all must be tired."

"Good night." My Santa said.

Room, sweet room. The room was painted in pastel lilac and white. So pretty! I was alloted a single bed, a bedside table, a working table, a bath area, a wardrobe, and a... vanity area????? But, the room seems empty for some reasons. I hope I can decorate it with my stuff's. My bedroom had a little balcony of its own too.

The room felt stuffy, I opened all the windows of the room - probably the worst mistake of my life.

I squatted down near my luggage trying to retrieve my earphones. They are the only way I could survive this rainy night.

Yes, I am extremely afraid of loud sounds, like lightning and thunders, firecrackers, gun shots, tire bursts..
Pihu once told me a story thinking this could improve my condition. She said, lightning and thunders were nothing but sparks flying everywhere when two clouds finally meet on their romantic journey. I tried to think like that, but to my disappointment, it didn't work.

So like poison can eliminate another poison, I use sound to eliminate all these unwanted sounds. I listen to music. But today luck wasn't on my side, I couldn't find my earphones anywhere. Shia.. this is a new cuss word I learnt from my recent BL series exploration.

Frustrated and tired, I decided it better to take a shower first.

With the urge to freshen up, came my urge to sing. I absolutely love singing. No matter how many times I repeat this fact, it still won't be enough.

So you can keep me inside the pocket of your ripped jeans
Holding me closer 'til our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone, wait for me to come home..

All my fatigue was washed away. I quickly changed into my bedtime clothes, i.e, oversized tshirt and boxers. It has already started pouring heavily outside. Ah! I still need to find my earphones. Sighing, I opened my bathroom door oblivious to the fact that I had a guest.

Dylan's pov

That nap totally refreshed me. I wish I could get a night of sound sleep as well. Is this too much to ask for? Despite being sleep deprived, I dont look like one though. My aura of brilliance can make anyone's presence fade away. Ah! God indeed created a masterpiece of perfections.

While observing my perfectly sculpted facial features in the mirror, I placed my hands in the pocket habitually. Oh! Nate's earphones!!

I picked it up while Nate dragged his luggage out. This guy! How could he forget his earphones! Since I am a magnanimous person, I will help him out this time.

After taking a quick shower and changing into my pajamas, I decided to return the abandoned pair of earphones to their master.

Knock knock..

No one answered. Oh! This idiot guy left the door open.

Shaking my precious head in disagreement, I stepped inside. Eh, no one was inside! Where did this dumbo go at such late hours?

A sweet voice drifted towards me. Someone was singing. Was it Nate? Because no one in this house sang so beautifully, and he was the recent addition. Dang! He has such a beautiful voice. I could listen to him singing all day long.

I kept his earphones on the bedside table. A door opened. He must be out.

I turned around grumpily only to find him standing infront the bathroom door in... just a t-shirt, and was kinda pulling off this seductive look. My eyes travelled down on their own accord,
his face might be chubby, but his legs were perfectly toned. Such smooth and perfect-I mean, beautiful skin. Heck, why wasn't he wearing any pants?

"Dylan" A faint pink hue surfaced on his chubby cheeks while he called my name for the first time.

I like the way it sounds in his mouth. I should order him to call me by my name more often.

"Is there anything on my face?" Nate's question pointed out to me that I was staring at him for too long.

"I--" why am I stuttering? "Ahem!!" I cleared my throat, "I came to return you your earphones." But while gesturing towards that damned abandoned object, I accidentally knocked his glass of water down. It didn't survive the hit.

Why am I acting all messed up?

"Oh! Don't worry. Let me pick them up." Nate was about to squat down when I grabbed his arms, "Let me do this." What was he even thinking? How can he squat down when he is not wearing anything underneath? Stupid.

"No, let me." Nate replied firmly and to my horror, squatted down and, oh! He had worn boxers. Damn you oversized t-shirt!! Playing games with my mind.

Ouch....

I heard Nate's voice.

"Didn't I tell you I would clear this broken glass pieces?? See , you got injur- Nate, Nateee!!!"

He fainted. In my arms.

And heck! Waves after waves of rain splattered in the room. Why did this idiot open all the windows even after the storm forecast?
