Nothing (A Harry Styles Fan Fic)

Chapter 1

Hi there. I'm Kaitlyn Dickson. I'm 19 and I graduated just over a year ago. THANK THE LORD. I had enough of school as soon as my "best friend" left. You might be wondering. Why is that in quotations. Well, my answer is that it was all a lie. He meant everything to me but I just meant nothing to him. This boy I am talking about is the one and only, Harry Styles. We were best friends since Preschool. I helped him through all of his problems as he did for me. When he turned 16 it was insane. There is a bit of a gap between us but only by a year. I was gonna turn 15 in August and he turned 16 in February. For his 16th birthday I signed him up for the X Factor. I thought he would like it since he always was singing and talking about wanting to be famous. I thought it was a good idea at the time. We even talked every night until the judges house. Then it changed to once a week. I was fine with it because I knew he was busy. But, as soon as he got to the live shows. He stopped all contact. I stopped seeing his mom, Anne and everything. For the first year my mom didn't know what to do. I wouldn't eat. I wouldn't go out. I just didn't know what to do. He was there with me literally since I can remember, and then he just disappears.

It's now 4 years later and I have mainly moved on and am going to college. I moved to London as soon as possible. I needed to get out of that neighborhood since whenever he would come, Anne would invite us over. I always came up with an excuse. I'm sick. I have plans. I have to go out tomorrow. Anne knew that I just didn't want to see him. She was just too nice to ever call me out or anything. I couldn't be more thankful for that.

I snapped out of my thoughts by my best friend Tes hitting me on the back of my head.

"Ow!!! What was that for?" I asked rubbing the back of my head.

"You were zoned out again. Now come on. We have to go to work!"

"I'm moving, I'm moving! Gosh" I said laughing

We both lived in a flat together. We also worked at a small club together. Apparently, there was a huge party tonight and he needed as many workers as possible. She drove since I was too lazy. We walked in and started setting up.

"Okay guys. This is a very important night. Be ready" my boss came out and said.

"Joy" Tes said chuckling.

We finished getting everything ready and people started coming in since it was like 6:00 pm.

"Let's get this done" I shouted and we got to work.
