Chapter 2 : leave me lonely

Kim and I arrived at the party 35min late and it was already lit like damn. I smilled when the magical scent of weed entered my nostrils. I noticed a couple of people that I knew and many others who were unknown. There was a massive stage in the middle of the field and there were many stand up tables with drinks, food and snacks.

The DJ was playing nothing but the best music. I spotted Shawn talking to this other girl Meghan and I sighed and bit my bottom lip but turned my frown upside down when I saw Kim and Nathan dancing in the crowd I'm so happy for my Bestie. I went over to the drinks and it was nothing but alcohol so I just settled with a lichi flavoured cider. I don't drink but if I do it'll only be cinders and nothing else.

While I stood facing the crowd I got a warm slap on the ass I turned around to see Shawn I looked at him and shook my head "Hey baby. Why didn't you reply to my text" he said kissing my cheek. See what I have to deal with. But he's just such a charmer with he's cute smile damn it and his tall frame.

"Well I was with Kim and I ignored my phone Shawn." I replied and he looked at me with that sly smirk that works on my nerves but makes me melt on the inside. "What happened to my nickname." He asked I looked at him confused "I'm baby'boy remember" He said and I just giggled this guy. "Nah . I kinda don't remember." I replied then walked away heading to the dancing crowd.

"Yo Candie!." I stopped in my tracks and looked over my shoulder making eye contact with Devon he's basically my weed supplier and also the dude I'd get high with and chill. So we're close in some way. I smiled and walked over to him. "Hey what's up?" I asked hugging him. "Down to get lit with me and the crew?" He asked and I smiled because I damn sure was down with that.

"Well hell yes!" We laughed and he led me to his truck where all the other stoners were at and damn they all are fine as fuck it's about 4 of them including Devon and all of them have dreads neat ass dreads. I'm a sucker for sexy dread heads damn. "And lil miss fine as fuck is in the truck" Chad said smirking my way and I threw the middle finger right in his face and the rest laughed .

That boy is 2 years younger than me and he is hitting on me all the damn time. I sat on the hood of the car while Devon lit the blunt. It was long and damn thick - okay maybe I'm overreacting a bit- but it looked real nice and as if it was machine rolled. When the smell hit my nostrils I could smell that high grade loud shit and damn it smelt good. The rotation soon started from Devon to me, Chad, Bobby and Tae'Von.

I took about 3 small puffs and 3 long pulls. After that I felt like I was walking on the clouds. Devon stood between my legs and I had my chin on his shoulder he started talking a whole lot of bullshit and I was laughing like there was no tomorrow. 10min later the munchies kicked in hard and Devon and I ditched the other guys and got chips and cool drinks for ourselves. We then took a long walk talking some deep shit for like an hour. We got back at the field and it was still going on like these kids were drunk and dancing like crazy and the girls were all up on these guys .

I looked around to see if I could spot Kim and I found her and Nathan hugged up by his all black Mustang. I'm so happy for my best friend. Devon stood with me for a few more minutes before leaving to the Truck. I just stood swaying my hips to the beat of the music.

I stood staring at Candice from a distance she's so damn beautiful, but she plays hard to get and I can't take that shit like there are other sexy girls that fall quickly for my words and I end up making out with them or even sleeping with them and I could care less about their feelings though. Candice is just so stubborn I can't even get a little small kiss from that girl and to me I just feel that she's playing with me though cause I so badly want to feel her lips on mine.

I start walking in the stoner gangs direction which consist of Candies best dude friend Devon . "Yo D hook me up with some loud!?" I asked when I got to him everyone knows he sells high grade good shit, he give me a machine rolled blunt and it looked hot as hell . "Thanks D" I said and he just nodded his head.

I licked my lips and made my way over to Candie who was sitting on the hood of her friend Kim's Audi and with a red cup in her hand . She looked zoned out like she was thinking. "Ay wussup C?" I asked and she turned and looked at me with a frown then smiled a little. "I'm alright. Wussup with you?" She asked and I leaned on the car "I'm chilled. Wanna light up with me?" I asked and she giggled a little bit . "Nah I just hit with Devon." She said biting her bottom lip looking like she's thinking. "A'ight guess I'll keep this for later... I really am feeling you though"I blurted out and she placed her head in her hands "why don't I believe you then? " she asked and I suddenly felt weird on the inside.

"Why not. Im straight up telling you how I'm feeling." I told her and looked into her dark brown eyes. " I just feel like you're lying. And I don't even get why you telling me this as if it'll help. I can't and don't wanna be with someone like you but there's something deep inside you that makes me like you so damn much." She said looking up at the sky then back at me. I was hit hard with those words. She likes me but acts like she doesn't. That's messed up and confusing.

"Wait so you do like me, but you don't want to like me? You're confusing. I honestly feel like you're playing hard to get."I said with a light chuckle and she rolled her eyes "says the nigga who gets attention from plenty other girls willing and waiting in line to date him. You don't see that every time I see you hugged up with a girl it hurts me knowing I might never be that girl well to be honest i wouldnt want to be that girl. The thing is I don't just like you I fell for you and your charm. Your way of saying this to make me simply melt in your arms... and I'm not playing hard to get I'm just saving myself from getting hurt. You're no good, for me." She said and walked away making me stuck and frozen.
