A few months had passed after the break up with your now ex-boyfriend, Kuroo Tetsurou, and it has been a painful journey for (First Name).
At first, you would cry nonstop as thoughts of him infiltrate your mind, the happy memories you have together definitely haunt you every time you close your eyes, his goofy smile, his voice which you can hear in your mind, everything you remember is about Kuroo and it makes moving on difficult for you to proceed.
It was easier said than done.
Everything was a blur when Kuroo decided to end the relationship with you, leaving you alone without a valid explanation to which you didn't bother to run after him due to the shock and the shattering of your heart under the starry night. You wonder what went wrong, the past few days when you and Kuroo are still together, nothing was out of the ordinary, him being himself, and you, happy to be by his side.
Perhaps, it was because you didn't know what was still swirling inside his unreadable mind. Here you thought you finally understood him that there were no secrets to hide, but maybe behind your back there was something you still didn't know, and yet you failed to notice.
It was then you concluded at the same night, he had enough, he was tired to be with you, maybe being in a relationship with you was a game to him, or he found someone better. Those were the sudden thoughts that infiltrated your mind and it fully convinced you, even though you loved him so much, it wasn't enough for him.
Kuroo on the other hand. He was a total wreck, the smart captain wasn't being himself. A lot had happened on the day he broke up with his beloved ex-girlfriend and he blamed himself for putting all his anger and frustrations on that night, he wasn't thinking straight, breaking up with you on a whim, everything went wrong, rather it was the worst.
How he regrets doing so, he needed you so badly. Your touch, your voice, your warmth, everything about you. Kuroo tried calling you by your phone multiple times but he could no longer reach you. He went to your classroom the next few days he finally calmed down, only to be informed you have transferred to a different school, and it felt like his entire world ended.
And it was from there onwards he knew, he knew he screwed up and made a very grave mistake. The monetary blindness of frustration overtook him that day and hurt your feelings, even though he loved you dearly.
As Kuroo thought back on that night---
It made him cry.
[A few months later]
"(First Name)-chan, are you okay?" You snapped out of your thoughts and face your older brother, (Brother's Name) who have arrived in Tokyo two days ago after getting a long week off from his work at (Favorite Country).
"You're staring into space is something bothering you?" He questioned to which you shake your head side to side. "No, I'm fine really." You said before taking a sip on the drink your brother order for you, missing in seeing his knowing smile.
The both of you were currently at a cafe having a sister and brother bonding with your parents joining later on just in time to go out for dinner.
"Ne, (Nickname)." Your brother called gaining your attention. "Let's go on a short walk around the park before meeting mom and dad at the family restaurant, I would like to take a good look around the area, it has been quite a while you know?"
"Of course!" You agreed happily and it wasn't long the both of you finished each of your drinks and stood up, exiting the cafe with your arm linked with your brother as the two of you walked out.
As the two of you walk, you couldn't help but recall. This park was the place Kuroo confessed to you and at the same time the place where he broke up with you. Every time your brother and you halt to take a look at certain places in the park, memories of your happy moments with Kuroo played like a short video clip, and somehow it made you sadly smile.
"(First Name)." Your brother softly spoke your name. You faced him in wonder, noticing his eyes focused on something that you followed, causing your eyes to widen and teary-eyed.
He wasn't eyeing something, but rather, eyeing someone, someone who's very familiar to you.
"Kuroo?..."
Tetsurou Kuroo's POV
Upon hearing a distantly familiar voice, my eyes widen. I stand up from the bench I was sitting on to see (First Name) a few feet away with whom I know to be her older brother. As we made eye contact, the mixed emotions in her eyes were evident but I couldn't look away from her, I was scared at the fact if I did, I won't be able to see her again.
I was feeling desperate, I still love her, and I want her back.
