Y/N: I need to go off base soon.
Taina: For what?
Y/N: You'll see soon enough.
Taina looked up at you with puppy eyes clearing very curious.
Y/N: You'll see, Little Petri Dish.
Taina: I hate you.
Y/N: You know that you don't.
Taina nodded as she put her head back on your chest. She fell to sleep after a few minutes. You looked down at her and smiled before looking back up at the TV. After a few minutes, Taina jerked her entire body and was going to fall backwards off the couch, but you caught her. Taina wrapped her arms around you and stuck her head underneath your chin against your neck. You squeezed her tight and she curled back up.
Taina: Nightmare.
Y/N: It's ok, Taina. It's ok.
Taina was not only shivering, but shaking from her vision of horror.
Taina: Please don't leave.
Y/N: What are you talking about?
Taina: In the nightmare you left and didn't return.
Y/N: I would never, Taina. Team Rainbow is my family, my home, I could never leave.
Taina: You even left Larva so no one could track you.
Y/N: I'm not going to leave, Taina.
Taina: Good, I need you.
Y/N: I need you too.
You were about say something when the intercom buzzed.
Six: I need Spectre, Revenant and Cub to my office.
You looked down at Taina and smiled before kissing her on the head. Your phone buzzed and when you checked it you saw a text from Meghan.
Meghan: You two are adorable.
Y/N: Where's the Black Eye now?
Meghan: Look to the left.
You looked to your left to see one slightly hidden underneath a chair.
Y/N: I hate you, you know that?
Meghan: No you don't.
You turned your phone off and set it to the side.
Taina: She's annoying.
Y/N: You know, you're right.
Taina laughed and then moved slightly. This movement caused a look from Abyss who had his head on Taina's leg.
Taina: Sorry, Abyss.
Y/N: You still cold?
Taina nodded and then set her head on your shoulder.
Y/N: Come here.
You leaned forward slightly and got Taina even closer to you to.
Taina: This is more comfortable and warmer.
Y/N: Good.
Taina: We should do this more often.
Y/N: Yeah, we can leave the sickness out though.
Taina: Yep.
The intercom buzzed again.
Six: I need Ghost and Caveira to my office please.
Y/N: Of course she does.
Taina: Let's go.
You picked Taina up and walked to Six's office and set her down before knocking.
