Y/N: Is that a floating rock with those symbols on it? Why is there a piece of metal that says 'Polaris' on it? What's that briefcase? Who the hell is that?

Monika and Marius stared in awe at my questions of my own drawing.

I felt my phone vibrate and saw a text from Taina.

Taina: You can come back now.

I excused myself from the cafeteria and walked to my dorm. I tried opening the door and it was still locked.

Y/N: Taina?

I unlocked the door with my key and stepped inside to see Taina nowhere in sight. I pulled my phone back out and texted her back.

Y/N: I'm here.

Taina: To find me, you have to retrace your steps for the last 24 hours.

I started going through the things in my head. A location popped into mind.

'The roof'

I go stargazing quite a lot so I went to the roof and saw Taina sitting there. I said her name and she turned towards me. I tried to hug her, but she disappeared.

'So that's what they were working on'

I got a text from Nienke.

Nienke: Not there.

Y/N: I hate you so much.

I walked to the common places I go to everyday and finally got a place in my mind.

'The woods. Wait, how did she know I was in the woods earlier?'

I walked to the woods and couldn't find her. I checked the place I proposed to her and saw her there with Nienke.

Taina: Took you long enough.

Y/N: I go a lot of places. How'd you know I was in the woods earlier?

Taina: Meghan.

Y/N: Why does she pester me with her cams?

I got a call from Meghan and answered it.

Meghan: Because it's fun.

I hung up and turned my phone off. When I looked back up, I saw 5 Tainas standing in front of me. Aria walked out from behind a tree.

Aria: You have 2 chances to find her.

I looked at all of the prismas and found two that stood out. I tried tapping one on the shoulder and my hand went through it. I tapped the other one and it dissipated.

Aria: Well, none of them were actually her.

Y/N: What the hell is happening?

Aria: You can find Taina where you recently stayed.

Y/N: The infirmary?

Aria looked at me with a dead expression before dissipating. I started to walk to the infirmary and realized all the other operators were nowhere in sight. I got to the infirmary and saw Nienke standing at the door.

Nienke: Not here. Night to say, but not day to night. You find your target with no fright.

Y/N: Night to day, but not day to night? My bed?

Nienke dissipated and I started walking to my dorm. I opened the door and saw 3 Tainas. I stepped in and a Grzmot mine went off above my head. I just let myself fall to the floor until the effects wore off. I stood up and saw they were all gone, but Ela was now standing behind me.
