"My room. Now." Sofie says, as soon as we get home. Sighing, I follow her up the stairs, and take a seat on her bed. "So, I was thinking of using a new brand of tampons." She says, slightly louder than usual. I know what she's doing, so I play along.

"Oh, trust me, it doesn't help with the cramps. What you should do, is go into the bathroom now, and..." We hear footsteps rushing away from the door, and giggle.

"Now. Back to business. What do you think of Nick?" She whispers.

"Hmm? What? I don't know. What are you talking about?" I look anywhere but at her.

"I knew it! You like him! And he likes you, too!" She squeals. One thing that neither one of us is good at, is lying.

"Ugh, fine." I give in, then tell her everything. I even told her about how I felt what he pretended to be my boyfriend.

"Can I come in?" Luca says from outside. I look at Sofie with wide eyes. Did he hear? She tells me to get it together.

"Come in, Luca." When he enters, he looks anywhere but at us.

"Um, so Sofie, do you want to come with me to the mall?" He asks.

"What? Why?" She says.

"Um, you know, in case you need to get anything..." Sofie and I give each other knowing looks. At least he didn't hear anything else.

"Oh, no thanks. I've got enough of everything for now." She says. Luca looks relieved, and turns to leave. "Oh, and Luca? Maybe you guys could stop listening to our girl-talk?" He gives a quick nod, before leaving as fast as his legs would take him.

I look at Sofie for a second, before we both burst out laughing.

"What am I gonna do?" I groan.

"What you always do. figure it out." With that, she leaves the room.

I take out my diary, and start writing. My brothers are extremely nosy, and so none of them know I even have a diary.

I spilled all my emotion onto the pages, but didn't mention his name. That would make this whole situation too... Real.

Nicholas P.O.V

I step put of my car, and make my way to the door of the Folliero home for my meeting with Antonio. I'm secretly hoping to see Emma here. Since her graduation, I haven't been able to get her out of her mind.

As I make my way to the front door, Leonardo steps out of the house looking flustered.

"Hey Leo." I greet.

"Mr Donatello." He replies with a nod.

"How many times do I have to tell you to call me Nick? Anyway, what has you all flustered?"

"Those two have no limits." He huffs. I chuckle, knowing he's referring to Emma and Sofie. "I go into the kitchen, and am informed that there will be a water balloon fight starting in the garden. I have no idea what that meant. All I heard was fight. My duty is to protect, and that's what I intended to do. You probably know what happened when I stepped outside." He huffs. Oh, I definitely know what happened. I walk into the house, ready to go to the third floor, when I hear hushed whispers coming from the kitchen.

"Sofie, I don't think he wants sparkly icing on them!" Emma whispers.

"The man never smiles. He might not want them, but he definitely needs them." I clear my throat, and both heads snap to me. they're both drenched in water, and damn does Emma look stunning.

"Hey, Nick!" Sofie chirps.

"Hey, kid. What did you two get yourselves into?" I ask.

"Well, we told Martha to warn Leo, but he didn't listen. We may have hit him with a bunch of water balloons." Emma says, looking guilty.

"He came out after knowing what we were up to! I simply assumed he wanted to join th fun." Sofie defends.

"Uh huh." I raise an eyebrow.

"Absolutely. Anyway, now we're making him cookies to make up for it." Emma adds. These two are clearly partners in crime.

"I see. Well, I wish you two the best of luck with that." I say, turning to leave, but stop, plucking some of the balloon rubber from Emma's hair. "There you go." I smile, before ruffling Sofie's hair, and exiting.

"Wait, Nick!" I turn around. "Antonio's not on the third floor today. He's in his first-floor office." I nod my head, and leave to attend my meeting.

Emmalin P.O.V

After a long shower, I plop down in Sofie's bed.

"I want a milkshake." She pouts. I nod in agreement, it's the perfect weather.

"I'm going to meet up with Vlad in a bit. Do you want to come with?" I ask, and she nods eagerly. "Okay, go change. I need to tell Dante."

I leave the room, and notice that all my brothers are at work. Only Antonio is here, so I go to his office. Just as I'm about to knock, I hear him speaking. Damn. He's busy. I guess I'll come back later. I turn to leave.

"Come in, Emmalin." I jump three feet into the air when I hear Antonio's voice. I poke my head into the office, and see him sitting with Nick.

"Um, sorry to disturbing you. I just wanted to ask if I could take Sofie with me today?" I ask, not really looking at Nick.

"Where are you going?" Antonio asks, making me frown.

"I already told you, Vlad is taking me out for a drink." Nick raises his eyebrow in surprise.

"She only says that to sound all grown up. They'll probably just go to a McDonalds." I scowl at my brother, but I don't deny the fact.

"Okay, I'll let Leo know." Antonio takes out his phone.

"No!" I say, a little too loud. He raises an eyebrow, and from the corner of my eye, I see Nick smirk. "We still need to give him the cookies." I mumble, not meeting his eyes. Antonio pinches the bridge of his nose.

"What did you guys do this time?"

"Nothing major." Nick gives me a look, which I return with a scowl. Yes, I'm a very mature person.

"That man deserves a raise." Antonio mutters. "Alright, you can take Sofie with you, but don't forget Leo. I kiss his cheek, and scowl at Nick one last time, which he returns with a wink. As hot as he is, he is just as infuriating.

"There are my baby girls!" Vlad says, as we enter the café. Sofie runs to give him a hug, and he hugs me as well. "Ah, Leonardo, how are these two treating you?" Leo raises an eyebrow at us, and Vlad chuckles.

"Come, let's order." We all take a seat, and order our drinks. I go with a coffee and hazelnut milkshake, which makes everyone's expression go weary. Let's just say I don't handle coffee in the best of ways.
