Nicholas P.O.V
"Okay, so we enter through here, and take out the first men. Make sure to use silencers." All of them nod.
"According to our source, the boss is in an office here. Nicholas and I will go after him, so make sure to cover us." Antonio adds.
Tonight is the semi-finals for the SASC and tomorrow is the finals. I heard the other three singers, and Emma will definitely make it through. We're currently planning our attack, while Emma and her friend go shopping for more baby clothes.
"Right. That's all for today." I dismiss everyone, and they all go their separate ways.
"How's my sister feeling about tonight?" I sigh.
"She doesn't realise what a good singer she is."
"Well, she'll just have to believe it when she moves to the finals."

"Angel, calm down. You didn't think you would even make it to the first round, but now look at you. A semi-finalist." She takes another deep breath, but starts to panic again when her name is called.
"I love you, Emmalin. Even if you sing terribly on that stage, or forget the words, I will still love you. More than anything." I kiss her belly, then her lips, and leave to find Antonio in the audience.
The music begins to play, and she smiles before singing the first verse. Her voice is like one of an angel, and I couldn't be prouder.
And all my friends, they know and it's true
I don't know who I am without you
I got it bad, baby
Got it badShe finally finds me in the crowd, and smiles.
Oh, tell me you love me
I need someone
On days like this, I do
On days like this
Oh, tell me you love me
I need someone
On days like this, I do
On days like thisIt's funny how that's exactly what I said to her backstage. I mouth the words to her from the audience I love you.
Her grin is wide as she continues.
Oh, can you hear my heart say?
(Ooh-ooh, oh, oh-ooh-ohh-ooh)
No, you ain't nobody 'til you got somebody
You ain't nobody 'til you got somebodyHer hand rubs her stomach. I've noticed that our daughter has been kicking and moving around a lot more since we got here.
Everything I need (ohh)
Is standing in front of me (ohh)
I know that we will be
Alright, alright, yeah
Through the ups and downs (downs)
Baby, I'ma stick around (ohh)
I promise we will be
Alright, alrightShe looks directly into my eyes as she sings the words. Call me cheesy, but my heart leapt when I heard her. My wife is the best damn mafia queen there could ever be. We've been here for nearly three weeks, and she is loving it. I'm being extra careful with her, considering she is now due in less than a month, but hopefully we'll be back home in a couple of days.
"And the two finalists for the 2020 SASC are..." Emmalin squeezes my hand, and I squeeze it right back.
"Chase McDonald, and Emmalin Folliero!" Emma jumps up and down, and I don't even try to stop her.
"Nick, do you know what this means??" She asks. "It means that I need to call Sofie! We would always talk about our dreams. Sofie wanted to be a princess, and I wanted to be a singer." She starts off excited, and then trails off.
"Well, sorellina, you both got what you wanted then. You are a singer, and both of you are princesses. Just not the same kind." I guess being a mafia princess is acceptable. Emmalin smiles, and immediately starts talking about some Mexican restaurant she wants to go to.
"Why don't you two go ahead, I'll meet you two outside. I need to make a quick call." I say, and they both nod.
I quickly dial Dante's number.
"She made it!" He says picking up the phone.
"Yes she did. I called, because I have an idea. You'll be too late to get here for the performance tomorrow, but you guys could come as a surprise afterwards." There is a silence on the other end, before he speaks.
"I messaged the pilot to bring the jet back here, I'll see you guys tomorrow." He hangs up, and I walk towards my wife.
"There you are. We're going to a place called Salsa. It's like two minutes away from here. According to Elena, they have the best tacos, and I really want to try their churro milkshake." Emmalin goes on about everything she wants to try, and I smile while listening. I wonder if our daughter will be like her.
Will she have long Brown hair like her mother? Or black hair like mine? Will she have the Folliero teal eyes? Will she love to sing like her mother, or watch her mother sing like me?
Less than a month and I'll know answers to all these questions.
