Authors note: This is the dress Sofie made Emmalin for her date.

Nicholas P.O.V

I get into my car, and head towards the Folliero house. I haven't been here so many times before. The whole drive there, Antonio's first words to e once I sat down, kept repeating in my head.

"Are you aware that was her first kiss?"

It doesn't make sense. I know what happened to her when she was a child.

I make my way to the front door, and ring the bell. Gio answers, and lets me in without a word. All five of the Folliero brothers were downstairs. I notice them all giving me glares, and I roll my eyes.

"Guys, I'm dating your sister. Not ruining your lives." I say.

"If you hurt her..." Enzo warns.

"I will." I shrug.

"What?!" The twins shout.

"I will hurt her. you guys need to understand, that I am in no way perfect. Emmalin and I will have our issues, and because she is practically perfect, they are probably all going to be my fault. It's inevitable. The point is, that we'll get through it all." They all stared at me with stunned expressions that quickly turn to impressed.

"Good answer, bro, but we'll still kill you." I nod in agreement. I would probably do the same.

"Hey Nick!" Sofie chirps, walking into the room. I lift my hand for a high-five, and she slaps it with hers. She gestures for me to bend down, and she leans into my ear. "I know my brothers will beat you up or whatever if you hurt her intentionally, but what I do, will have you feeling much worse than physical pain." She whispers, then leans back with an angelic smile, as if she didn't just threaten me.

"Of course." I reply casually. When I hear footsteps descending the staircase, my head snaps up, and my breath hitches. Emmalin walks down the stairs wearing a beautiful red dress, with silver pumps. Her hair was loose, and left in its natural waves. Her makeup was minimal, and her natural beauty was clearly visible. She had a plain black cross-body bag. I stood there speechless.

When she finally got to the bottom, I walk directly to her, and snake my arms around her waist, giving her a kiss on the lips, and see her cheeks tinge an adorable pink.

"That dress looks amazing on you." I say. I don't know much about fashion, but I've attended a lot of events. This is the most beautiful dress I have ever seen in my life, or maybe it's just her.

"Oh, I so approve of this." Sofie says, clapping her hands, and jumping up and down.

"Sof, this really is my favourite dress. You just keep getting better and better." Emma says, smiling at her little sister.

"Sofie, next time, could you please add a few more inches to the skirt?" Luca asks with an irritated tone, to which Sofie simply shrugs.

"I didn't see the need, since she'll have big bad Nick with her."

"Wait a second. You made the dress?" I ask with wide eyes.

"Yup, and her graduation dress. What did you think?"

"I don't know, maybe that you chose the dress from some designer brand? I think my sister just found her new favourite person." I say the last part more to myself.

"You have a sister?" Emma asks, and I nod.

"Yeah, she's older than me, and lives with her husband. Sofie, I'll give her your number. I think she'll really like you." Sofie's eyes are wide, and she can't seem to form any words. Once Emma's said bye to her siblings, she takes my hand, and I lead us to my car.

"So, where are we going?" She asks.

"Now telling you would ruin the surprise, wouldn't it?" I give her a wink, and she huffs.

During the ride, Nick and I play twenty-questions, and I laughed so much there were tears in my eyes.

"Here we are." He says, pulling the car into a parking slot. I look out the windshield and gasp.

"You brought me to a carnival!" I squeal, not even registering the fact that Nick has opened my door. I take his outstretched hand, and Nick gets us tickets.

It was the best night of my life. Nick kept an arm around my waist the entire time, and I felt the now familiar tingles. He even won me a giant teddy bear. We went on quite a few rides, and of course, the Ferris Wheel.

When he finally drops me back home, I'm sad our night is over.

"So, can I see some of your paintings?" He asks, opening my door for me. I bite my lip, but nod anyway. I don't know if he'll like them. I lead him to my art room, and when I switch on the light, Nick's eyes immediately land on the painting from our night on the cliff. Wordlessly, he walks over to it.

"When did you do this one?" He admires the painting.

"The night at the cliff." I mumble shyly. He lifts my chin using his index and middle finger, and plants a soft, lingering kiss on my lips.

"This is he most beautiful painting I've ever seen, and I've been to quite a few galleries." He says, and I blush.

"Thank you." He smiles softly at me.

"No problem, Tesoro." (sweetheart) He says.

That was my firs ever date, and I'm pretty sure it was amazing!

After waving goodbye to Nick, I dreamily went upstairs to my room, and plopped on my bed.

"You are so whipped." I hear Sofie say, as she enters my room through the door which connects our rooms. I don't give her an answer, knowing she's right, as I walk into my closet and change into pyjamas.

Snuggling into my covers after filling my sister in on my night, except for some parts, like the painting, that I kept to myself, I cuddle closer to my new bear. It faintly smells like Nick. I grab my phone when I hear it ping.

Nick: Dream of me, angel ;)

And that's exactly what I did.
