Emmalin P.O.V

"Where are you?" Elena asks over the phone.

"Room 209." I reply. I haven't seen Elena in a while, and even though we keep in touch through the phone, I still miss her.

"Emma!" She squeals as soon as I open the door. The gives me a huge hug, and tells me how amazing I look with my belly.

"I can't believe your brothers actually let you get married." She says, taking a sip of her coffee. I shrug in response, and rub the spot where the baby just kicked. She's been kind of restless lately, and I think it's because of all the travelling.

"So, how's your brother? I haven't seen him in forever." I take a sip of my lemonade, and look at her.

"He's doing great. He's been dating a guy named Ron for the past year." I smile, remembering how Enzo and Luca thought he was hitting on me the first time we met.

"I'm glad he's found someone. So, you're doing my make-up for tonight." I inform her and she squeals. She seems to do that a lot.

Elena practically drags me out of there and into the hotel room. Once she's finished, I put on the dress that Sofie packed for me. The material she used made it easier to wear with my huge belly.

"Aww, you look gorgeous!" Elena compliments. "Now, I have to go, but I'll see you on tv." She gives me a quick hug, before leaving. My phone rings in my pocket, and Nick's name flashes across the screen.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sweetheart, I just wanted to make sure you're ready. I'll me there in a couple of minutes."

"Um, yeah I think I'm ready."

About five minutes later, we were in the car and on our way to the first round of the contest. Sofie and my brothers are all watching back at home on the tv. She sent me a picture of all the blankets and snacks that they set up. I don't know why, but this makes me even more nervous. They all think I'm so amazing at singing, but I doubt I'll make it through.

"Next up we have Emmalin Folliero, from New York City!" I waddle on stage. While I was backstage, I heard the whispers about how I'm not going to make it while I'm pregnant. This only pushed me to try even harder.

The music started playing, and I began to sing the first few words of 'like I'm gonna lose you' by Meghan Trainer.

So, I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you
And I'm gonna hold you like I'm saying goodbye

The entire time I was singing, I looked directly into Nick's eyes, and seeing the pride in them made me sing each word better.

Wherever we're standing
I won't take you for granted
'Cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time

The crowd started to clap with the music, and my baby was kicking around like crazy. She was probably enjoying the stage.

Nick saw my hand, and his smile grew seeing our daughter.

So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you
I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you

I finish the song, and the crowd erupts. Antonio and Nick are whistling really loud, making my cheeks flush red.

"Thank you." I say into the mic, before walking off the stage. Before finding Nick, I head to the concession stand and buy a packet of jelly tots with a bottle of water.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if we could all please settle down for the results." The crowd goes quiet, but I'm too focused on my jelly tots.

Nick has an arm wrapped around me, and is listening to what the guy is saying.

"Right, so the four contestants going to the semi-finals, are Chase McDonald; Trisha Scott; James Da Costa, and Emmalin Folliero!" Everyone claps, but I don't know why.

"Nick, can you buy me another packet of jelly tots? Mine is finished." I say, popping the last one into my mouth. His mouth opens and closes like a goldfish. Did I miss something? Huffing in annoyance, I turn to Antonio, who is looking at me with pride.

"Antonio, can you please buy me another packet of jelly tots? Nick isn't saying anything for some reason.

"Emmalin, did you hear what he just said?" I shake my head.

"No, because I want more jelly tots. What don't you people understand?" I'm getting angry now. I turn to get some myself, when Nick grabs my arm.

"Angel, you made it. you're going to the semi-finals." My jaw drops and I look at my brother for confirmation, and he nods.

"I made it!" I squeal giving them each a hug. I used to dream about this as a kid. I grab Nick's hand, and drag him to the concession stand.

"Where are we going?" He asks. Where was he the past minute?

"I'm glad I won, but I still need my jelly tots, and you're buying them for me."
