Pam's POV

You're stupid

Going to school the next day was really hard for me but I made sure to avoid him so it was OK
During lunch I avoided the library so I'd avoid seeing him and just sat in my classroom and buried my head in my arm.
In case you didn't already realize it or you're wondering why I didn't just go to the cafeteria, well I have an eating disorder so I basically have no appetite. I'd never actually admit it to my mates though.

School is over now and I'm still in my classroom scared to go out so I wouldn't see him.
I'm so lost in my own head that I don't notice when Nicki walks in and I still don't notice when she sits beside me until she startles me by asking "What happened to you?"

"Nothing" I reply

"Talk to me" Sighing, I decide to tell her so I launch into retelling her what happened
When I'm done, I look at her

"So what do you think I should do?" I ask

"Girl you are so dumb"

"Hey" How offensive!

"I don't get why you are so down about that, he has already told you what to do" She says

"But it's not easy. I'd always tell myself I give up and then when I see him, I give up on giving up" I explain

"Then just distance yourself from him and when the feelings are returning, re-read the chat where he tells you to give up and try to find other hobbies to occupy yourself with or better yet, redirect such focus on reading and becoming a better person"

Thinking about it, I realize she has a point

"Well, you do have a point. I'd try it thank you"

"No problem, remember your life shouldn't revolve around him"

"Yes I know" I say standing up "Thanks again"

"Don't mention it" She says and walks out

I decide to leave the class as well
Bad idea
Why? Yep you guessed it
Eddy and his friend were talking just at the end of the hall

Determined to follow Nicki's advice, I simply walk past them without even looking at him
Wow I guess I am moving on

Sighting Isabella in the distance, I yell out her name and she immediately started walking towards me

"Hey what's up?" She asks

"Nothing much"

"Still heartbroken?"

"Nah I've decided to do what he said I should. Plus he made his choice so why should I feel bad about that?"

"Good girl, are you gonna eat today at all?"

"Nope, unless you have pin pop ;-) " I tell her with hope in my eyes

Rolling her eyes, she asks "What's with you and that lollipop anyways?"

"Hey it's not just THAT lollipop, it's pin pop and I love it"

"Yeah yeah whatever" She says and walks out the school doors

"Hey bitch" I guess it's about time Cee found me

"How far?"

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you for hours"

"Uhhh Cee? School closed 30 minutes ago" I point out

"Well it seemed like 3 hours" she says dramatically

Rolling my eyes I pull her through the school doors

"So why weren't you in the library today?" She asks worriedly

"Long story" I tell her scratching my brows
I only do that when I'm stressed or feeling negative

"Better start talking"

Ugh! Her curiosity will be the death of me
Death due to excessive story telling? Lame

Anyways knowing I'd be fighting a losing battle, I retell the story again

Once I'm done, she starts laughing
Annoyed I start walking away

"Wait up! OK I'm sorry I'm sorry. It's just that I can't imagine crying because of a boy"

"That's cus u don't know how it feels"

"True but all I'd tell you is that you should give up on him. I've told you before. There are a lot of people dying for your attention so stop wasting your time."

I merely nod weakly

In the distance. We see our friends talking

"Let's go hear what they're saying" Cee says and starts running

Immediately they see us, Isa runs to us and tells me "We were just talking about you"

Surprised I ask "Me? What did I do?"

"We were talking about how dumb you are"

"Hey! I'm offended"

"We were talking about how you have been inhaling the scent of a particular food for years without tasting it, isn't it time to try another food that you can taste?" (A/N: Dreamergirl2309 actually said this to me once but not in the same setting. I acted like I didn't understand but I'd never actually forget it)

I know she was talking about my crush on Eddy but I act dumb instead

"Forget it" She says and everyone disperses

Leaving me left alone in my thoughts as I make the long walk home.
