Spencer POV

I can see the lights as I get closer. I keep pushing myself, I'm so tired, my vision starts to blur. Victoria is running right beside me. I grab hand and look into her eyes as I run. They are gaining on us, getting closer with each step. I look behind me and I can see them, the two large men looking miserable, like they hadn't slept all night. I can see everything now, the cars, the street lights, the dirty pavement of an old highway. Twigs scratching my face I push through. Victoria's long hair getting tangled around everything. I'm so weak, I could pass out right here, this close to victory. I find one final burst of energy from deep down inside me. I pull Victoria until I get to the end of the tree line. I tumble down the small hill leading to the road. I jump up wiping off pants. I look back up to the top of the hill, there they stand. I notice one reaching for his gun so I turn the other way and continue running. I run up the road, many cars passing me by, not having a clue what's happening. I would try flagging one down but that could take time and put someone else in un needed danger. I look behind me, Victoria falling behind. "Come on, keep going, we are so close" I yell behind me. She runs right up beside. "No matter what happens, I love you" she says "Nothing is going to happen" I say confidently. Finally we come to a house, the two men are no where in sight, but they would be soon. I bang on the door as loud as I can. "Please, open up, someone please!" I beg. Promptly the large wooden door to the very modern house swings open. "Can I help you?" the elderly lady said politely asks. "Please can we use your phone?" I ask completely out of breath. "Yes of course" She replies. Victoria and I hurry our way in closing the door behind us. For the first time I have felt safe, like I might actually survive. The nice old lady showed me to the phone. Victoria sat on the couch holding her stomach. I dialed Morgans number, I thought he deserved the first call, to know I was safe. The phone rang, and rang, and rang. Finally a very tired Morgan answered the phone, he sounded miserable, like he hadn't slept in days. "Morgan" I heard him say "Derek, it's me Spencer" Suddenly I could hear his voice quicken and his mood instantly change. "Spencer, is that really you? Are you okay? Who took you? Where were you?" "Derek I'm fine, I have no idea where I am" I look over and the lady is nowhere to be seen. "Any chance you could get Garcia to track the number for me?" "Sure thing man" Morgan puts me on hold and calls Garcia. "Hey Garcia, I got a special guy on the other line for ya" Morgan says to Garcia. Morgan takes me off hold. "Spencer, are you there?" Garcia says sounding like she was going to break into tears. "Hey Garcia, yes it's me" I can hear her crying out of pure joy. "Do you have any idea how worried we all were?" "I'm so sorry" I say feeling guilty. "Not trying to be rude but could you track my phone, there are two syco's about to be banging down the door." "Anything for you Sweet Sugar Pie" I can hear her typing away on her computer like her fingers were ninja's. "Stay on the line as long as you can" Garcia informs me. "I'll call Hotch and the others" Morgan stats then gets off the line. Almost as if they heard me, four very loud bangs occur on the front door. "I'll get it!" The old lady yells running in from her room. "No!" I demand making her jump. I drop the phone on the table and walk over to her and Victoria. "What's going on, whats happening?" I hear Garcia through the phone. "Just find out where we are Garcia" I can hear the men talking outside the door. "We know your in there, just come out and this can be resolved easily" I put my fingers to my lips telling them to be quiet. "Alright, I guess we are going the hard way" They kick the door down making a loud bang. I stand in front of Victoria and the old lady putting my arms in front of them. "You don't want to do this" I try and convince them. "Oh, but we do" My eyes start darting around the room for something I can use, there is nothing. "Got it" I hear Garcia yell through the phone. "What the hell?" the one asks walking over to the phone. He picks it up just as Garcia hangs up. "Now your really dead!" he demands, his eyes turning the color of the midnight sky. "First I'm going to take out the old lady, then I'm going to take out your little friend. I'm going to take you out last so you can watch each and everyone of them die. He runs up behind me and ties up my hands. He pushes me down into a nearby chair and grabs the lady. "This is your fault" he says with a huge grin on his face. He grabs a knife out of his pocket. "No please, please don't do this, please" the old lady begs for her life. "You don't need to do this" I say again. "Stop saying that, your not going to change my mind." The man raises the knife high above his head and plunges it deep into her gut. A tear trickles down her cheek and onto the hardwood floor. She drops to the ground, blood pouring out of the wound. Within seconds she lay lifeless on the now red floor. He thumps over to Victoria and grabs her. She doesn't beg for her life, she is stubborn like that. He stands her right in front of me, my face burning hot with anger. He lifts up her shirt to where the bullet wound is. He slowly grazed the knife blade over it. "I think I will stab her right, here" Just as he lifts the knife above his head I hear the sound of Morgans voice through a mega phone. The man drops the knife and looks out the window. Twelve police cars are circled all around the house, there is no way he is getting out of here. He picks the knife back up and grabs Victoria. He walks to the window holding the knife up to her throat.
