Morgan ran in the room followed by many other officers. The room was silent, no one made a noise. JJ laying unconscious in my arms, an almost dead man in a heap on the floor and an actual dead woman laying in a pool of her own blood. Not to mention the girl sitting on the couch scared out of her wits. JJ was so beautiful while she slept, but she wasn't sleeping. A team of paramedics rushed in behind Callahan. They rolled her over out of my arms and onto the gurney. Rossi rushed over to the man on the floor and checked his pulse, by his reaction I'm guessing he is still alive. Another small group ran into the room and took him out to the ambulance that was waiting out front. Hotch went over to the lady while Callahan went over to Victoria on the couch. I was shocked, this happened and we survived, we wern't supposed to survive but we did. My ears felt like church bells. I sat in the corner of the room while the hustle bustle around me rushed to help and save everyone. I couldn't move, couldn't talk. My brain wasn't working right, it was in a fog. I tucked my knee's to my chest and started thinking, thinking of all the time Victoria and I had together. What was going to happen after this between us? Was she still going to love me when we go home? I can't think about that now. I made it, we made it. I felt a hand on my knee and looked up pulled out of my thoughts. It was Morgan, I had never been so happy in my entire life to see his face. I swear I saw a tear start in his eye but he shook it off. "We have all been so worried, I'm glad your okay" He helped me to my feet with his strong grip. He grabbed my hand and pulled me in for a hug. It lasted longer than a normal one but that was on both our parts. "It's really good to see you" Morgan patted my arms and helped me out passing by all of the officers and paramedics. There were so many police cars lining the house. Ambulances everywhere. People running around, calling everyone they can, trying to figure out all the small clues and for once, it's not me. My heart starts racing. Victoria! I turn to face Morgan. "Where is Victoria, is she okay, where did she go?" I'm acting like a crazed animal. Morgan grabs my arms to try and keep me calm. "Dude she is fine, Callahan got her" I breath a sigh of relief just as I see her walk through the front door. I run up to her. She has a blanket wrapped around her shoulders and tears streaking her face. Without even thinking I grab her face and kiss her. Her lip shakes a little but she returns the kiss almost instantly. I press my forehead to her's. "We did it" She nods her head laughing. I start laughing too. I grab her hand and walk over to Morgan leaving Callahan behind us. "Morgan this is Victoria" "Oh, your little girlfriend" He says it in a childish way a mother says to a little kid. He guides us over to the ambulance. Suddenly I remember her stomach, it had to be looked at immediately. I rush her over to the nearest paramedic. "You need to look at her stomach now!" He helps her up and lays her on the bed. He rips up her shirt and a wave of shock appears on his face. He calls over other doctors and nurses. I eventually get pushed out of the way. I see the lights turn on and hear the engine start. There wasn't any room for me in there anyway. I scan the crowd until I see the one I'm looking for. "Morgan!" I rush around all the people making myself dizzy. "Morgan, you gotta take me to the hospital, I have to get to Victoria" "No way, you have to get checked out here, there is nothing you can do at the hospital anyway" My heart drops. He is right, there isn't anything I can do but I could at least be there when she wakes up. "Now come on" Morgan directs me to the nearest ambulance. "Let's just make this quick, then you will drive me?" "Sure thing loverboy" The paramedic checked to make sure I was fine. There wasn't anything wrong, just a few bruises I will live. I jump off the end. "Let's go!" "Woah what's the rush?" Morgan says just trying to piss me off. We get on the road and start heading to the hospital. It was to slow, the car was too slow. I needed to be there now. What if something happened to her, what if we are too late? "You need to relax" "I am relaxed" " No your not" "How would you know" I start to get a little angry "You fumble" "What?" "You fumble when your stressed" He was right I was fumbling, with a piece of string that I have no idea where I got it from. I throw it down on the floor. "What am I supposed to do?" I ask frustrated. "She is at the hospital, it doctors, with medical degree's, they will be able to more than all of us combined." "You didn't see it, see her, she isn't going to make it long" I'm talking to myself more than I'm talking to Derek. He pulls into the parking lot and I'm out the door before the car is fully stopped. "Slow down!" Morgan calls from the car. I ignore him and run into the front door. I walk up to the front desk. "Price, Victoria Price?" "Mm let me check" Could she take any longer? "Yes she came in about 20 minutes ago, but she is in surgery so you can't see her right now" Surgery? I knew she would need it but actually hearing the words made it ten times worse. Morgan walks up behind me and puts his hand on my shoulder. "Let's go sit down" I follow him to the chairs in the waiting room. I'm surrounded my childrens toys and pop up books. I play with my thumbs and tap my toes. I make up all the worst case scenarios in my head. Morgan get's up from his seat and walk over to the other side of the room. Standing there is my whole team, even JJ. Good, I need something to cheer me up. I get up and almost run to the other side of the room. I look at JJ holding the ice pack to her head and her huge smile with all her glistening white teeth. I give her a tight hug. "It's good to see you Spence" A tear trickling down her cheek. Next I see Rossi. I go for the hand shake but he pulls me onto a hug. We don't say anything but we both know what the other is thinking. Then I see Hotch who's frown turn's into a small smile. We shake hands in a polite manner. "Glad to have you back" I nod my head "And we will talk about this later" That can't be good. I walk over to Callahan. I have only known her for a few months but it feels like years. I hug her tightly "I so glad your okay" "Me too" in my attempt to make a joke. She smiles and gives a small sigh. Then I see her, the beautiful Penelope Garcia. She is clutching at some stuffed animal that she always has around to make her feel more comfortable in all our nasty situations. I give her the tightest hug if all. She starts crying, full blown, waterworks. Listening to her cry can make a grown man cry. I start sniffling trying to keep them back but it's impossible. "I love you so much Spencer" She is still hugging me, I'm afraid she may never let go. "I love you too Penelope" We didn't say anything else. I started walking back to the chairs remembering why I am here. They don't follow me right away, Morgan stays back and says something to them, I'm guessing why I am here. They quickly walk over and join me in the nearby chairs. Garcia sits right beside me. "You are never leaving me sight for as long as you live" She gives me on of her huge Garcia smiles and puts her hand on my shoulder. The doctor walks into the room where we all sit flipping through papers on his clip board. I heart almost beats out of my chest. I'm breathing so heavy I think I'm about faint. "The family and friends that are here for Victoria Price?" I raise me hand in the air "Yeah" "Yes well, umm, it's not looking so good, she's stable and we are doing everything we can..." I shoot up out of my seat "Everything you can? She is everything I have, please don't let her die!" " I promise we are doing everything possible" He walks away without saying another word. I slump back down in my seat holding my head. She can't die, she can't!
