Spencer POV

"Come on let's go!" Tyler demands shoving us into a small shed somewhere in the woods. Inside it's dark and cold. It chills you to your bone and I can see me breath. "How long are we staying here?" I ask. "As long as we need to" Tyler replies in his bitter way. I grab Victoria hand to comfort her. Her hands are ice cold and she is already starting to look pale, I can't lose her, it was too close last time. Her and I sit in a corner, she puts her head on my shoulder. "Are we ever getting out of this?" she asks me I'm not going to lie to her, I don't want to give her false hope even though I know she doesn't believe me when I say it. "I don't know Victoria, I don't know" I turn my head and kiss her forehead. "I love you" I whisper keeping my lips on her face. I hear Victoria sniffle and I loom down at her, she is crying, I hate it when she cry's. "I love you too, more than anything I have ever loved" My heart broke a little when she said that, not because I didn't love her the same way but because I know I might not have her for long. I wanted to make these last couple days the best we have had, considering the predicament we are in. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and put my chin on the top of her head. Tyler walks into another small room followed by the two other men. They left the door completely unguarded. Maybe this was the mistake I was waiting for. But what if they catch us, they would kill us. I decide to take the risk, it may be our only opportunity considering there is always someone on watch at night. I look at Victoria who is clearly thinking the same thing. She gives me a nod and I give her one back. I quickly kiss her soft lips, maybe for the last time. I slowly get up and help her up. We sneak across the room making sure we didn't make any noise to alert them we were leaving. I slowly opened the door half expecting it to creak, to my surprise there was no sound. I take a step outside followed by Victoria and slowly close the door. I make a break for it, running faster than I have ever ran before. I look back and notice Victoria taking a little longer to catch up, and she is limping. I run back to her and pick her up. I run as fast as I can with a body in my arms. I am not the strongest person so yes she is heavy but I am not leaving her behind, if she gets caught so do I. We get deep into the woods before I faintly hear the screams of Tyler yelling at one of his hench man. "You idiot, you were supposed to be watching them, now they are gone, they know what we look like, and we are defiantly going to jail!" "I'm sorry boss" I hear him reply. "Well sorry isn't going to bring them back, you are!" Tyler demands. "Yes sir" they both answer simultaneously. My heart starts racing, we are being hunted by two large strong men, chasing us; a scrawny kid and a girl who can't walk. I'm going to give it my best try. In my brain I doubt myself greatly, but in my heart I am determined to making it. I keep running trying to make as little noise as possible. I'm not sure which way we came, all the woods look the same to me. I set a destination so I know I'm walking in a straight line. "I can walk I'm fine" Victoria tries to convince me. "Trust me, we are faster like this" I keep running until I can't anymore. I don't hear voices or snapping twigs so I take a break. I set Victoria down and sit down myself. I can barely breath, my lungs feel like lead. Victoria notices my discomfort. "I'm okay to walk for the next while, okay?" "Are you sure I can..." "No" she replies " I can do it, promise" I smile knowing that I wouldn't have been able to do that for much longer. I hear a twig snap in the distance. Victoria and I shot up and look at each other. As if on point we start half walking, half jogging to the next destination point. Victoria is limping but still keeping up. I can't imagine the pain she is going through, I mean she was only shot the other day. As we go I can start to hear voices from behind us so we break out into a sprint. I can't make out what they are saying but it's defiantly them. I've never been overly athletic so this hunt is killing me. I see a large log and jump behind it. Victoria follows. We are both breathing heavily, holding our chests. I turn around and look over the top of the log. I can just see the figures of the two men walking our direction, arguing over something. They are to close for us to make a break for is so we stay put. I turn around to face Victoria who is looking absolutely terrified. I put my finger up to my lips and point in the direction they were coming from. She knew exactly what I was saying bacause she put her hand over her mouth and didn't make a sound. The only noise we could hear was the sound of crunching leaves and twigs and those two knuckle heads still talking. The got closer, and closer, my heart skipping a beat with every step. I was imagining what they were going to do to us when the caught us. Victoria reached over and grabbed my hand. I squeezed her hand to let know I was feeling the same way. I was so scared I thought I was going to break out into tears but I didn't. The two men were basically standing over top of us talking about some baseball game. I started shaking. What if they already knew we were here and they were trying to scare us even more. I know what it's like from the killers point of view but it's completely different from the victims. Suddenly the two men stop their conversation mid sentence. "I think I hear them" one of them says and they run off into the other direction. They must of heard some animal make a noise. I wait at least a minute after they run off before I move. I peak back over the log and they are no where to be seen. I feel like I can breath again. Victoria stands up and puts her fingers through her hair. I run up to her and hug her like I ever have before. We were so close to being caught, we almost lost everything. "That was too close" She mutters out "I know" I reply "We have to move faster" We start running as fast as we can through the woods not knowing where or which direction. We have nothing, no food, no water, no shelter. I have no idea how long we can survive out here. All I know is we have to find a way out of these woods without being caught.
