Spencer POV
He held the knife at her throat and stood at the window. I still sat in the chair tied up with the dead lady in front of me on the ground. Victoria started crying, shaking slightly. She looks at me with her huge, beautiful eyes making my heart skip a beat. "Put her down!" I can hear Morgan yell through the mega phone from outside. The other guy is pacing around the room. The other one is clearly the dominant one in this partnership. "Come on, you guys are just going to get yourself deeper in this shit the longer you stay here with us" I try and convince the one who is pacing. He points the knife at me, "Shut up, I don't want to hear it!" I figure it's just better to stay quiet, so I just sot back in my chair. "Come on man just let her go" Morgan pleads. The man holding Victoria walks away from the window and shoves her on the couch. He walks over to his partner and whispers something into his ear. They nod in agreement and je walks into the other room. The dominant one walks over to a nearby table and starts laying out all his weapons; two guns, a large knife and a small pocket knife. He is clearly trying to scare me, but it's not working. The rope around my wrists starts to irritate my skin making it itch. I think, and think. Think of something, anything I can use to get us out of here. Then I see it, a baseball bat in the corner, if only I could get to it in time. Suddenly I hear the phone ring, the large man walks over to it and picks up the phone, Hotch is on the other end. I can't make out what they are saying but he is trying to negotiate a deal. Of course the man asks for a way out of this, they always do. The man gets angry at something Hotch says and slams the phone down on the table. While he was talking I managed to untie the rope around my hands but I still sit in the chair, next time anyone calls I will make my move. Victoria still sits on the couch staring at the blank white walls. After everything we have been through, this is nothing. The phone rings again just as the other accomplice walks in, there goes my chance of getting the baseball bat. I can slightly make out what the phone call was about this time. I heard the word negotiator somewhere in the conversation. Within a matter of minutes there was a banging at the front door. The man didn't move. "Its open" he said in a snarky tone, almost making a joke. It was JJ, it's so good to see her face again, it feels like it's been years. She glanced at me only for a brief moment, her face almost loosening as she did. She sat down on the couch across from the man. "Hello David Herf, my name is Jennifer Jereau, I'm with the Behavioral Analysis Unit and I'm here to consult with you about letting Agent Spencer Reid and Victoria Price go." "You think I'm just going to let them go that easy, I'm going to need something in return" "And what were your thoughts" JJ asked. "I want to get out of here, me and my partner, and I want 10,000 dollars in the bank for when I do get out of here" JJ looks down at her hands, then at me. "I'm afraid we can't do that sir" the man's anger starts to boil, JJ is now in danger. "What are they not worth that to you Agent Jereau?" David said almost yelling. "Sir please calm down" JJ insisted. The man was getting angrier by the second, this wasn't going to end well. This was my only chance, while they were both distracted. David stood up off the couch. I could see the terror in JJ eyes. She got up and started going for her gun. I jumped up from my chair and grabbed the baseball bat. JJ was fumbling her gun out of it's holster. David got closer to her with the knife in his hand. I got a firm grip on the bat and ran up behind David. I smashed the wooden bat over his head knocking him unconscious. He lay in a big heap on the floor. The other guy started running up behind me with his knife. JJ pulled out her gun and shot him in the chest. Her eyes went wide, her breath quickened. She dropped to the ground, her legs just collapsing on her. I caught as she fell. I held her head in my arms. She was still alive, she just fell into a traumatic shock.
