Life is a very complicated thing but, it's also a very beautiful thing. And lately, I've been feeling the beautiful side of life. Because I have my best friend by my side, my fiancé, and two boutiques that are ready to open. I have everything I could've ever wanted and I couldn't be happier.

It was an early Tuesday morning, and me and Shana were all the way on the side of the country in Hollywood, California. Since that's where one of our boutiques are going to be opened. Me and Shana were stocking shelves and adding the finishing touches since the grand opening was in a few weeks. Dylan was back in Ohio working on another boutique and that one is also scheduled to open in a few weeks. It's truly amazing to see what can happen in six months, because in that time we managed to find a designer as well as also making our own designs, Dylan's parents let him take out a loan so that we could afford to buy these properties, Shana has found some big designers that want to come to our grand opening and I've been managing this whole thing. I've been making sure that everything and everyone is line, especially now because it is way too late in the process to have any unnecessary or unexpected surprises.

After spending weeks in California, Shana and I were finally back in Ohio.
"I've never been happier to be back home, but unfortunately, I have to be in England in two days for my older cousin's wedding and you know I can't miss a family wedding or my parents will bite my head off." Said Shana as she threw herself onto her bed. I looked at her and then I responded with "girl, both of the boutiques are ready and and grand opening for the for the first one isn't until the weekend and you will be back by then. So go and enjoy yourself in England. Dylan and I have got this." Shana looked at me and then she said "are you sure?" I looked at her and I nodded and then said "I'm heading to Dylan's tonight because I haven't seen him since we left for California last month, but I'll be back tomorrow to help you pack." She looked at me and smiled and then she responded with "thank you." I smiled at her then I said "no prob girl, that's what friends are for, but speaking on the topic of friends, we need to have girl talk. Like proper girl talk." Shana looked at me then she responded with "yes, I've been waiting for this. Ok, first question, since you and Dylan have been together for about ten months, which is basically almost a year, where is the craziest place you two have had sex?" I looked at Shana and then I looked down I said "we actually haven't had sex." Shana looked at me surprised and then she asked "wait, are you still a virgin? At your big age?" I looked at her nodded and then she continued to say "I can't believe that. I thought you would've lost your virginity by now, but good on you girl. I see you're waiting for the right moment." I looked down and then I said "I'm probably going to wait until after we're married before we get into any of that sexy stuff." She looked at me and nodded and then she replied with "understandable, but it's getting late and you need to go and see Dylan, and worry about coming and help me pack tomorrow, I've got it. You go and enjoy your last few days of freedom before we're swarmed with a business for the rest of our lives." I got up and right before I left, I asked her "are you sure." She smiled at me then she nodded. She got up and the two of us walked to the door together. I opened the door and that's when Shana said "I'll see you when I get back, I'll be in California Friday morning . The day before the grand opening." I looked at her and smiled and then I responded with "I have no doubt about that. Girl, enjoy yourself. I love you and I'll see you Friday." She hugged me and then said "I love you too." I then left Shana's house and got in my car to go to Dylan's.

I just arrived at Dylan's house, it was roughly around 9pm and me and Dylan had some last minute preparations to do before the grand opening. When I walked up to Dylan's front door, I realised that it was already open, I walked in to hear loud music playing and the house was completely trashed and then I walked into the kitchen and I saw lines of white powder on the counter, a lighter and a Louis Vuitton bag. I was very suspicious for many reasons and one of them was because that Louis Vuitton bag was not mine, but I didn't want assume the worst because I'm sure Dylan has a perfectly good explanation for all of this.

I walked upstairs and went into Dylan's bedroom and what I saw, had me just standing there, I wasn't talking and I wasn't moving. I was just standing there, I literally tried to move but my body wouldn't allow it. Out of every shocking thing I had seen in my life, this was definitely in the top five. Dylan was laying in his bed with a brunette girl who had; green eyes, fairly pale skin, and freckles and I walked in to see her bouncing on top of him. And what had me raging me even more was the fact that she is the spitting image of me. She could literally be my doppelgänger with how similar we looked. The girl saw me and she didn't say anything, she just got up left. After she did, I walked up to Dylan's bed and I said "I should slap you right now, but I'm not a violent person." He looked up at me and and then he responded with "let me explain... I found out that my parents couldn't make it to any of our grand openings because of business meetings and obviously, I was upset because they never show up to any important event of mine, they're always so busy with work, they act like me and Zoe don't exist. They weren't even at our graduation, and they keep thinking that sending us expensive care packages is going take away from the fact that they are literally never there for me or Zoe. So when I found out that they weren't coming, I just needed to get my mind off it. So I found this girl online who said she would hook me up with a couple of lines if we did a quick jeet and skeet. She kept to her side of the bargain, so I had to keep to mine. I looked at him absolutely baffled and then I asked "ok, but in the process of all of this, did you forget that you have a fiancée?" He was literally speechless and I didn't really expect him to be anything else, so I said "you did the exact thing to me that you did to Angel. You cheated on her with another girl and blamed it on the alcohol, and now you've cheated on me with another girl and you're blaming it on the drugs. So do you just cheat when you're intoxicated? Is it a regular pattern? You always act like the victim in these types of situations but you're not, you're literally not. In fact you are are the opposite of the victim. You're the one that's always fucking up and blaming on anyone else, just so it looks like that you did absolutely nothing wrong and I'm fed up of it." He looked up at me and then he responded with "it's not like that." I smiled and then I said "it never is with you, Dylan. It's never like that with you." He looked down and then I shook my head and started walking out and that's when he said "wait."  I turned around and he looked at me and asked "what about us? What about our future?" I looked down and I responded with "you should've thought about that. Anyways, this situation just made me realise that I can't be here be right now, so I'm going home to pack and then I'm going to England with Shana for the next few days. We will be back on Friday morning, the day before the grand opening. Hopefully by then, you've fixed yourself up. We can talk about us and our future on Sunday. After the grand opening." And then I turned back around walked out.

I expected so much from Dylan, I knew he did stupid things when he was drunk or high but I never expected him to go this far. I've never been so disappointed in him. He's fucked up before but nothing beats what he just did. We've been through a lot together, but this is a different level. Maybe this is a sign that this was never going work. Maybe I needed my eyes opened and I sure as hell got it. I love him so much, but I don't think there's any coming back from this one.
