I thought of not going. Part of me really didn't want to go. I don't want be told what I have expected all this time. But as I say on my bed I saw the picture of Simon and I on too of my dresser. I was 9 he was 10, I was sitting on the swings and he was behind me pushing me. I had my head turned to look up at him as he caught me a enormous smile on my face. He was looking down at me smiling right back.

I got up and grabbed my dads keys and got into the car, only stopping to call out that I had to run and that I'll be back soon.

I pulled up to the spot after the long drive but it felt so short this time. I wasn't thinking while I was driving and now just sitting here I start to think again. The nervousness and the feelings of uncertainty came flooding back to me. I unbuckled my seatbelt and stared strait ahead trying to calm my self.

It was quiet and then loud taps on my window started me and I quickly opened the door hitting someone with it and causing them to grab hold of the hood of the car to keep them stable. "Jesus Sophie!"

"Simon," I yell in surprise as I recognize his voice. I look up at him he looked stressed and nervous as well which didn't help my own nervousness. "It's you!"

"Yeah it's me! Who else would it be?"

"I don't know. A kidnapper, a rapist, we are in the middle of nowhere who knows what could happen," I reply throwing my hands up in the air. He shook his head.

"And you know how jumpy I am!" I said smacking his arm, "you should have know not do startle me!" Smacking his arm another time.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he says holding his hands up in the air as surrender. "You are right. I should have known better. I'm sorry."

" You are forgiven," I say with the nod of my head before I turn away from him and walk to the trunk to get out the blanket.

We found a nice spot and sat on the blanket. He on one side me on the other. It was unusual to us. Normally there wouldn't be much distance between us. Normally I would lean on him and we would have enough blanket to wrap over us. But there was a considerable amount of distance this time and no extra blanket to put over us.

For about a minute we just say there not saying a word or even looking at one another. The silence was getting to awkward and making me even more nervous. I looked up at him and he looked up as well.

"Hi," he said with a small smile.

"Hi," I said back and waited for him to say something else. But he didn't so I looked back down and started playing with the blanket.

"I'm not having sex with Hannah." He suddenly says and I look up at him surprised by his out burst. "We are not even in a relationship. I only see her and care for her as your sister and have come to think of her as my own sister."

"You're... you're not hooking up with my sister?"

"NO!" Simon yells then realizes his unneeded shout and says more quietly, "no I am not."

"But... but what about that time we got into a fight and I had to walk home and you and Hannah drove and I heard you and her talking in your room." I said and he looked back confused.

"She said something about something being fun, you agreed, then she asked to do it again, and you agreed again-" I said before he interrupted.

"How did you get us having sex out of that?"

"You didn't let me finish," I said. He apologized and let me continue.

"You 'oh, and here is your shirt. ' why did you have my sisters shirt," I demanded.
