*Present time (you are now 16)*

"You know, you are a very good ANBU especially for someone your age" said Kakashi after we were done our ANBU mission. "Thanks, weren't you an ANBU at an early age?" I replied back as I started taking the gear and accessories off. "Yup I was" He eventually said, "we have another mission in a few days to be prepared" he added as well. I agreed as well as saying our goodbyes and left.

I entered my house, it was a 2 bedroom house I shared with Hikaru which was my best friend ever since I entered the academy. I immediately went to change my clothes into some sweatpants and a shirt so that I had rest all night long. Living with Hikaru was fun, she would usually be out on missions like she was currently but if you think about it, living with your best friend would be such fun anyway so it was certainly worth it. I sat down with some fruit on the sofa and started watching (f/s) on the TV. Feeling my legs rest finally after the aching mission was definitely the more relaxing feeling ever.. but then I remembered I had a mission in a few days. I mentally groaned as I continued watching the show and eating until I was content and sleepy.

*Time skip*

It was about a few minutes since I'd got in bed and yet I couldn't sleep, I've always had that problem anyways which was a struggle. I found myself thinking about Kakashi randomly and I tried to snap out of it. Now don't get me wrong Kakashi was a very attractive man and a great ninja but I tried my hardest to not catch feelings for him for the longest time ever because.. well he was in his 20's while I was currently 16 which as you can tell would be a problem. Even if I did meet someone I truly did like and was okay to like I would still try to stop myself since it just felt like everyone would eventually leave my life and abandon me. You see, my parents died when I was 9 for a reason I still don't know but it had to be a good and wise one because those were 2 really great people, although the Hokage never lets me know about them, but I know I will find out one day for sure. They didn't even tell me anything about my clan either! Well, I was pretty young so I guess it didn't really cross my mind but I still want to know stuff about the Uzumaki clan. Before I knew it I was off to sleep.

I woke up the next day to screaming coming from the kitchen. It had to be Hikaru so I got up and witnessed her holding a spatula standing on the corner of the sofa looking like a maniac. "KILL THE SPIDER!" she yelled the exact second she heard me coming. This was usually at this point so it didn't really bother me at this point.

"Well good morning to you too" I said sarcastically.

"KILL IT"

"Okay okay relax, where is it- AHHHHH THAT'S NOT A SPIDER THAT'S A SCORPION OR SOMETHING YOU IDIOT"

"DOESNT MATTER JUST KILL IT"

"I'M NOT TRYING TO DIE"

"NEITHER AM I SO KILL IT- AHHHHHHHHH" It ran out the door before she even finished her sentence.

"Phew it went out on its own"

"Yeah probably cuz it saw your morning face" I glared at her once she said that, although she wasn't wrong. I was pretty grumpy whenever I wake up but then again she's the one that woke me up on my BREAK day so what did she expect.

She had already made some eggs and toast so I ate that as soon as possible since I only had fruit for dinner last night. I took a shower and wore some casual comfy clothes as I heard a knock on the door. I got out of my room with the messy messed up hair I had from trying to attempt a hairstyle, which as you could imagine went terribly wrong. I went to the door to reveal a familiar face although I couldn't quite remember it exactly for some reason.
