"Bruh, it's so much better now that Ca works here instead of that Tate Langdon lookin ass.", Billy says, earning a glare from Skye. "Sorry."
"I can't believe hes actually gone to jail. But knowing him, he could do some Bellatrix Lestrange shit.", Skye says, chewing anxiously on her fingernail, a habit she had picked up since what happened.
"Stop that. He's gone for good. By the time he's out, you'll probably be out of here anyway. I have no clue why he only got 4 years."
"Cara and Sam will probably be on their second child by then."
"Second set of twins, you mean?"
Skye smiles softly. "Yep. But seriously, I don't think I'll ever be over this, even if he got the electric chair."
"There's no getting over it though. You just kind of learn how to cope with it a little better." He half smiles, and Skye returns it.
"Who could've ever known Billy the Dumb was actually Billy the Wise?"
"I'm basically Hannah Montana since I get the best of both worlds."
"I can't stand you."
"Bitch, you couldn't live without me, g'way with that."
Skye laughed, throwing a gummy bear from the bag they were sharing, exclaiming "Fuck you", resulting in the two of them standing up and throwing sweets at each other like children. The two laughed as others in the shop stared in disapproval and Cara shook her head and smiled.

A while later, the two end up at the park, sitting in the swings as the sky begins turning into an orange colour as dusk falls.
"Man, fuck this summer and everything it stood for.", Skye says as she takes a sip from the familiar can of Monster.
"As shitty as it was, I liked it. Here feels more like home than actual home did. I never want to go back."
