Chapter 25

December

Brandon/Scott's POV
It has been about two months since the whole incident with Zach. A lot of things have changed since that day. I never sat at Jeff's table during lunch again. I've been sitting with the other jocks. I still talk to Jeff but I wouldnt say he's one of my closest friends at this school anymore. I've been hanging with Charlie, Monty, and Bryce a lot lately. Monty and Bryce actually aren't bad once you get to know them. They've been really nice towards me also. I don't really talk to Jeff's group of friends either anymore. They no longer include me in class. I don't sit with Jess anymore during study hall, I mainly sit with Luke now. I'm assuming Zach told them what happened since I've been getting dirty looks from them. It might sound like I'm exaggerating but I know they definitely know. Or at least Sheri knows.

Flashback to a day after the fight with Zach

I was just walking in the hallway towards my locker. Suddenly I heard stomps coming towards me. I looked to my right then.

*slap*

"How could you Scott? I thought you were different!" Sheri said angrily.

Sheri walked away after that leaving a lot of people standing there staring confused about what had just happened. I'm not going to lie that did hurt like shit. But I probably deserve it.

End of flashback

So yeah, clearly Sheri hates me now. Maybe even more then Zach does. I don't blame her though. I don't even know if Zach told them the correct story but I know he definitely made it seem like I'm the bad guy. I kind of am though for attacking Zach out of no where. They all have every right to hate me.

No one else really found out about the reasoning for the fight between Zach and I, well maybe besides the people Zach told. But I haven't told anyone, Charlie never questioned me about it since he could tell it was something I didn't want to talk about. The other jocks eventually forgot about it.

We finally have a court day for my brother. March 25 is the date. That means I have three more months to prove he's innocent. Christmas is in a few days and this time, it was Diego who wanted to host the party. Bryce was still pissed about whoever stole, well broke his vase. Speaking of Bryce's vase, he never found out it was Alex who broke it yet. He's been pretty calm about it now but he still wants to beat the shit out of the person who did it.

Recently I've been going to Charlie's house to chill since I don't want him knowing where I live yet. I would say he's my best friend at Liberty other then Monty. Diego once showed up at Charlie's house only to find out I was there to. He asked me if we were together and of course I said no. I don't know why he would ask that. Apparently the whole football team thinks Charlie is gay only because he doesn't talk about girls. Even if Charlie is gay, I doubt I'm the one he's crushing on. I don't believe too many of the bullshit the football team gossips on, but if Charlie is actually gay then good for him. Football also ending a month and a half ago. Most of the guys were kind of upset especially the seniors. It was the beginning of basketball season and so far I know only Justin and Zach are on it. I'm not the biggest basketball guy so I didn't bother joining.
