"Tenko!" My sister wailed.

Tears streamed down her face as she ran over to me, quickly wrapping her arms around me.

"Why... w-why did they have to go and talk about me like that..." She cried in my shoulder.

"W-Well... it's because they're stupid." I replied.

She continued to cry. I felt so bad for her.

When she arrived at her school dance she found her friends talking about her and saying some rude shit. If I were there I would beat them up right away.

Even though my sister was older than me I still wanted to keep her safe. She was so sensitive.

Her happiness was something I felt like I had to protect. I wanted to make sure she never ended up like me.

Her happiness meant so, so much to me.

The pain in my leg was back. I could move my mouth now so that was a good thing.

I laid in a hospital bed with a warmed up blanket. I wore a hospital gown. It wasn't the most comfortable but it's better than being naked.

I was hooked up to many different machines. Every time I had to use the bathroom I had to call in someone to help me get unhooked and actually get up to go to the bathroom.

A small shaky breath escaped my mouth. I slowly lifted to warm blanket that was covering my lower body and put it to the side. My legs were bright red with scratches covering them. The doctor wasn't exactly gentle.

He was almost obsessed with just having me clean. No matter how much it hurt me all he wanted was for me to be clean.

He used a body brush to clean me. It didn't hurt at the time because my entire body was all numb but now my body stung. Small scratches littered everywhere.

I remember him seeing a freckle on my thigh and just started scraping at it roughly. Once he realized it was just a freckle he calmed down, but it still hurt. It left a scratch that stung pretty badly.

I remember him talking about my hair and how it was dyed a light blue color. He didn't seem much of a fan of it. He said that he would make sure to fix it. I'm not sure what that means, but hopefully it won't be to bad.

I still didn't know where I was exactly. I didn't know what happened to bring me here. The only thing I know is that my name is apparently Tenko Shimura. Hell, I don't even know if that's real. For all I know, this guy could be lying about that.

I let my head rest on the pillow. I wasn't sure what I was feeling. Was it fear? I'm not sure.

All I knew though was that I definitely wasn't happy.

Maybe once I got some sleep I could be in a better mindset and actually figure out where the hell I am. I'll ask some questions tomorrow too.

Just hopefully, they'll be honest with me. I don't want to believe lies and think that they're true or something.

I slowly pulled the blanket back over me and shifted a little trying to get in a comfortable position before closing my eyes.

I tried to fall asleep. I really did try.

But, I couldn't. Everything was hurting. My arms, legs, just everything.

I wanted to sleep. I wanted to make the time go by faster. I wanted to be free from this place.

With a small groan, I rolled over and buzzed the button on the side of the bed. It was a button to alert the nurses that I needed something. The doctor guy showed me.

I laid there waiting for a nurse and finally one showed up. They knocked on the door before entering, making sure they wouldn't scare me.

The nurse walked in. They had a black mask on just like the doctor did. It definitely peeked my curiosity. Why was everyone here wearing a mouth mask? Was it a dress code policy?

"Tenko, what do you need?" The nurse asked.

He had bright blonde hair and his eyes were almond shaped. His pupils were small so it was hard to make out the color. He wore a male nurses outfit with a stethoscope around his neck.

His eyes showed me enough expression to judge that he wasn't really wanting to be here at the moment.

"I-I uh..." My mind went blank. What was I going to ask him?

The blonde haired man let out a small sigh before walking closer to me. He observed all the different machines surrounding me and all the wires hooked up to me.

"I would assume you would need some help falling asleep, am I wrong?" The man spoke.

Quickly, I nodded my head yes and the man proceeded to grab a pen and write something down on his hand.

"If you want, I can also check with Chisaki and see if you can have some dinner." The man spoke in a more upturned voice now.

I gave him a confused look, not really knowing who this 'Chisaki' guy was.

"Oh! He never gave you his name... well he's been having a busy day so he must have forgotten to introduce himself to you. Anyways, Chisaki is your doctor. He approves of everything that's in your treatment. He has many records of you in his book so he knows everything." The man informed me.

A question suddenly pooped into my head and I quickly decided to ask him it before I forgot.

"U-Uhm... why am I here?" I asked.

The man looked at me for a second before his eyes upturned showing that he was smiling.

"We all make mistakes, Tenko. Now, I'm going to go get some sleeping pills for you to help you fall asleep. Chisaki should be okay with that."

Before I could ask anything else the blonde man left the room.

odd.

I knew that their was something up with this place. The people weren't right. They acted friendly but I wasn't stupid. I knew it was just an act. But why? Why are they acting?
