I used the wall as my support. With ever step, my leg dragged behind me. It was painful, but I could endure it.

I made sure to listen to my surroundings carefully. My mouth was kept tightly shut to avoid making any noises.

Every step was a carefully thought out movement. The only thing that was making noise was my dragging leg. I tried my best to keep it at a minimum.

Suddenly, I heard another blood curdling scream just like I did before. Banging soon followed it.

My pace soon quickened as I moved along the plain walls faster. My heart began to race as I felt my knees begin to tremble.

What was I even going to do when I got there? Why must my curiosity get me into danger.

Slowly, I turned the corner to find myself at a large metal door.

"W-What the hell?" I asked myself quietly.

I gawked at the door for a few more moments before snapping out of it and reminding myself I had to figure out where those noises were coming from and what was causing them.

The noises must be coming from whatever's behind this door.

I slowly tried to push it opened but it was locked from the inside. A small sigh escaped my mouth as my shoulders slumped in disappointment.

Did I really come all the way here for nothing?

Just great. Now what?

Maybe-

Suddenly, I heard footsteps approaching the metal door, and then the sound of it unlocking. Without thinking I dove behind the nearest object which just so happened to be a fake plant.

It wasn't that great but it was better than being out in the open.

The large door swung open harshly and two men emerged from the door. In front of one of the men was a metal carpet that looked to be full of medical equipment.

The men wore mouth masks that covered most of their face.

"God, she was a fighter." One of the men spoke.

The man who was rolling the metal cart just nodded and continued walking.

The man who was making the remarks was a strong looking guy. You could see his large muscle outlines through his shirt. He was wearing a male nurses outfit. He had long light brown hair.

The other man had ash blond hair. He seemed pretty focused on the cart he was rolling. He also wore a nurses outfit.

The metal door slammed behind them loudly causing me to flinch. I ended up making a small whine.

The two men stopped in their tracks, slowly turning around. They scanned the area for a moment or two.

"I'll go check it out." The ash haired blond man spoke.

"Watch the cart."

Slowly, the man began walking towards the side of the hallway I was at. Everything felt like it was moving in slow motion. The sound of my heartbeat echoed in my ears as I prepared myself for what was to come next.

Suddenly, a voice echoed through the intercom speakers. It was a females voice who was requesting assistance in whatever hall C was.

The two men looked at one another and began going back to what they were doing. The ash blond man went back to the metal cart and began strolling it beside the other man.

Relief washed over me as I felt my tense body slowly loosen up. Thank god...

That could have ended badly. Who knows what they would do if they found me.

Once I knew they were gone I quickly got up, still being careful to not make any noise. I tried the metal door one last time to see if it was maybe slightly opened or something but it wasn't.

I was curious on what was behind this door yet I couldn't let my curiousness get to me.

I had to keep moving.

I had to.

(I am sooo sooo sorryy for the long wait! I've been getting really side tracked lately but I will try my best to keep working on my fanfics.)
