Greeted by the downpour of sunlight blinding him, squinting as he stumbled out of bed in a slight daze. Wiping the sleep out of his eyes, he wandered over to the bathroom as to take a shower.
---
He exited the bathroom, entering the sunlit filled room for another day of school. Drying off his hair, he checked his notifications, no new notifications. He then went on to getting dressed as he looked over to his neatly folded uniform, his mind soon wandering off to Bokuto, a memory that would never leave him. Once he finished getting dressed, he snatched up his bag along with his textbooks and stationary before heading downstairs in a scurry.
He was treated with the usual silence on most occasions. Didn't honest mind at this point as he didn't want to be a rotten egg, complaining and all that. Sometimes the silence would be a little too eerie for him on the occasional mornings.
He suited himself to breakfast, grabbing a bowl from the cupboard below, following after a spoon. Opening the fridge which revealed its contents, taking out the milk and then grabbing the cereal. Pouring himself the cereal first into the blue bowl that lost its pattern and youth. After that he poured in the milk then helped himself to seating at one of the white bar stools, twisting from side to side instead of being still.
Mind flicked through the subjects he'd have today, figuring out which ones he had homework for.
He finished off his cereal, placing it in the sink and then washing it quickly. The water hit his skin like a winter day, a bit too cold. He placed it on the tray, wiping his wet hands on the cloth provided nearby.
He then packed his lunch that had been prepared the previous night by his kind mother. A smile etched onto his lips quite delicately as he then went off to brush his teeth. Once he finished off, he went back down the stairs collecting his keys then to the door. Pulling on his shoes at the genkan before leaving for another day then locking up once he was outside.
The warm breeze filled with chirps and songs from nearby birds. Nearby residents making a start to their day, one filled with a blue sky along with a few clouds that sat upon the sight. Akaashi's walk to school did take a bit of time but only about 15-20 minutes. It was good for a refreshing start to a new day.
---
Once he arrived at school, he was obviously greeted by the one and only Bokuto Koutarou, aka his boyfriend. He bubbled with excitement, babbling on about recent events and recalling memories.
As usual, Akaashi always listened to every single word, barely containing his smile for the vast majority of it.
His mind had been too busied to even focus on the drama about the rumours at school but that'd hit him like a truck sooner or later. The two chatted together as they sat by the gym, Akaashi feeling a pair of eyes on the two. He turned his head swiftly, spotting nothing. The thought of someone watching them still intimidated and worried him.
The bell rang, indicating that everyone had to head off to their classes. Starting off in the same path, then heading off their own ways but not without a wave goodbye.
And so Akaashi entered his class, taking the seat near the front of the class that wasn't occupied. He sat down, taking out his textbook and necessary stationary for his class that would start soon.
---
The bell dismissed everyone, flooding out into the hallways. Friends reconnected with one another while others kept to themselves.
Akaashi couldn't help but scan every individual student, searching for Bokuto in which his eyes eventually settled upon his figure in the hallways, wide eyes greeted him warmly. Slinging a welcoming arm over his shoulder as they two exited the hall to their usual spot.
