Chapter 5

Shower

When Mich dominated the game, Carter, and Leo almost given up themselves by trying to get a score upon Mich's shooting streak. They were all tired and the girl seems stopped cheering anymore because they would the game wouldn't end anytime soon. When Mich was about to position himself to shoot the ball, luckily Leo blocked Mich's throw and he immediately took the ball avoiding Carter towards the ring and jumps to take a score. Finally, after a winning streak of Mich, Leo wins.

Leo holds on his knee, catching his breath. Mich walks towards him and gives an embrace to congratulate him for winning a point. Carter seems pissed off because he wasn't able to get a point after his brother keeps defying his chance to make a point.

"Good game, Leo," Mich smirked.

"Well, you actually dominated the game so good game, Mich." Leo chuckles.

Carter grunted, rolling his eyes. "You beat us so we're now looking like a loser because of you. You didn't even let me have a point. Oh well, there are the girls who's cheering for you, and that keeps your pride on a level that cannot be reached."

Mich walks to him and hit him on his head, "get a grip of yourself, Carter. It is just a game and I haven't been playing for a long time and it's good to have you around and our new friend."

"My new friend," Carter repeated. "He's not your friend, I'm his friend so get your facts straight and don't steal any of my friends and those girls," Carter said pointing at the direction where the girls are sitting but they all are heading to them and check them up.

"Congrats Mich," Rachel started when she bound to get near at him.

"Uh, thanks," Mich said with a timid smile.

"I know you will win this game," Rachel said and look at Carter. He just rolled his eyes at her, "anyway, Leo..." she looked at her cousin, "you did a great job there though you could've done better, but that's great, you really look so competitive there." She patted his shoulder though her face scrunches when she felt his wet shirt coming off from his sweat. "That's disgusting, sorry 'cuz."

Leo chuckles, "Yeah, I know. I should take a bath when we got home."

"Oh, no," Rachel gasped. "The girls and I will be going somewhere so I think you could go back to the house by yourself if you don't mind?" Rachel raised her brow. "Our house isn't far from here so I think you wouldn't get lost."

"Uh... yeah, sure."

"No, come with us, Leo." Mich offered and then he removes his sweaty shirt revealing his body. Leo looks at him and then the girls had their jaw dropped upon staring at him. Carter immediately blocked their view of him. They pushed him out of their sight and Carter just shakes his head.

"Why do you have to be so dramatic when you're just taking off your shirt?" Carter questioned.

"I'm not, Carter." He smirks.

"Uh... can I ask why would I come with you?" Leo asked/

"Yeah, can I ask that too? Why would my friend come with you when you're not his friend?" he raised his brow to his older brother.

Mich chuckles and looked at Leo, "we're friends, right?"

It took a little longer for Leo to answer him, "yeah, yeah, of course. I'm open to becoming friends with everyone."
