DYLAN'S POV

Just a second ago I was ready to crash for the night, but the way Brandi looked in my shirt drove me insane. We are making out and things are getting hot. Brandi's fingers are running through my hair and our bodies are pulling towards each other each time our lips connect. If we don't stop now, I'm not sure I will ever be able to. I force myself back onto the bed and pull my lips from Brandi's. She lets a small whine escape her lips and pulls on my arm. I wrap my arm around and pull her into me so her head is resting on my chest.

I fall back into my groggy state and am asleep in no time.

BRANDI'S POV

I'm running my fingers on Dylan's stomach and tracing little patterns. I look up at him, his lips are pressed in a soft line and he's asleep. The bruise on his jaw is glowing because of the moonlight shining through the curtains. I look down at his hand wrapped around my shoulder and it doesn't look as bad as earlier.

I pull his arm off of me and get out of the bed, I have to pee. I try to be as quiet as possible but the door creaks as I close it, then slams against the door jam. When I finish, I turn off the light then open the door and I don't bother trying to close the door. I crawl back into bed and Dylan wraps his arm around me again. I fall asleep shortly later in his arms.

...

I wake up first and after a brief search, it seems I'm the only one up. I look in the fridge and grab all the fruit I can find. The blender is on the top shelf of the pantry, so I have to use the chair to reach it. I throw some strawberries, bananas, blue berries, and papayas into it and blend it all up. After I finish the smoothie, I wash it and I'm still the only one awake. I run upstairs and change into my Nike tiempos and running shoes. I haven't done as much exercise as I've done eating this trip, so I should go for a run.

I stretch out on the front patio and hit shuffle on my iPod, the first song is Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani, which sets a good pace for me. I start off slow then gradually speed up until I reach my comfortable pace. I've spent so much time with Dylan in the more glamorous parts of Hawaii, that I didn't really get to see the pretty nature side of the island. The trail I found before I left is mostly on the roads looking over the beach, so I can enjoy the view.

Someone runs into the back of me and gives me a little shove, shaking me out of my pace.

"Hey! Watch where you're going ass hole!" I shout.

He's slowed his pace and now fully stopped. Oh no. The tall, shirtless, sun kissed figure turns around and it's Daniel.

"Hey there, yourself." He smirks.

"Ugh, of course it's you." I cross my arms.

"I missed you too babe." He walks closer.

"Nice shiner." I sarcastically point out.

"Ouch." He frowns.

"Look I'm sorry, just don't talk to me like that."

"Like what, babe?" He smirks again. He has a horrible smile, yuck. What a pig.

"I'm not your babe." I plug my headphones back in and turn around to run the other way.

He comes up next to me and runs along side me, of course it wouldn't be that easy to get away from him. I stop and pull out one headphone, "leave me alone!"

"I can't run?"

"Not with me, no."

"Oh come on baby." He wraps his arms around me and squeezes.

"Get off of me!" I shout and struggle to get away. He has a good grasp.

"No, stop struggling." He whispers in my ear.
